Gimme a reason why English class isn't worthless
All we do now is read literature and write about it. If I want to go into architecture, HOW DOES A FOUR PAGE ESSAY ON [i]A TALE OF TWO CITIES[/i] HELP ME?!?!?!?!?!
Seriously, I have done almost nothing as far as grammar is concerned since middle school, so what's the point? Should high school English classes be optional? Sure, I'm pretty good at the class, I just find it to be very boring and obnoxious.
What do you guys think?

Well by improving your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar when it comes to writing job applications or CV's you'll look a lot smarter and professional. Plus if you've took other classes it'll help you get better grades by using more sophisticated language.
