Is this truly what we've become?
I don't often post on gaming forums, I believe everyone is entitled to have and share opinions. It's a free world.
Yet, reading some of the self-entitled, bandwagon jumping, virtually baseless hate being posted on here is staggering.
I'm almost positive that most of you can't even remember what it is you are actually complaining about. You're just regurgitating the same tired rhetoric time and time again, just with worse grammar and more exclamation marks.

Yeah I've noticed it to. There's a complete difference between voicing things you see wrong then saying -blam!- you bungie -blam!- this -blam!-ing games a piece of shit I'm done with this -blam!-ing game. It's beyond arrogant. People want the game fixed quit attacking bungie. You wanna know what happened to the games story go on reddit a employee posted a whole story on it anonymously . You want the game fixed right now. But first of few of anybody on here even know a damn thing about programming a game. And if you do don't even bother to say you could fix it because if you could you would not be sitting behind a screen playing the game you would have a job building them. They need constructive criticism not full on attacks of a product there trying so hard to make succeed. Also bungie can't just do whatever they want they have to clear everything with Activision because there where the 500 million dollar start up money came from so you wanna bitch at anyone bitch at activision

I agree because this is such a a high amount of hate for a pretty good game. I have never even heard of a game like this that has gotten more hate. People just seem to find any detail that is wrong, just so they can put it here.

Actually I remember exactly what the problems are. It's not complaining it's voicing real concerns over and investment we all made in good faith with Bungie and Activision. Personally I think it's the other way around. The baseless hate is coming from the defenders of this product who constantly live in a state of denial because they want to love the game so much that they completely ignore the glaring problems while reciting the same ridiculous ass tired mantra of patience, patience, patience. Well yeah of course any game is going to be better when you are spewing out content year after year after year in lue of a ten year cycle. Even though it will have to be paid for. But this is not what was sold to us. They ripped out the story last minute, decided to sell it in pieces while in the meantime trying to sate us with different colored versions of the same mission. People need to wake up and get their head out of their asses and hold these people to task, because this is becoming and ugly trend in gaming. I for one have no problem with others voicing their concerns, whether I or you like the game is not the point. The point is they sold an unfinished product at full retail that quite frankly wasn't much different then the beta. Anyone can like half a game, or even a quarter of a game. And if you want to pay for one that's fine, as long as you know what it is you are paying for. Bungie and Activision did not do a good job conveying this. And I think it was on purpose. Instead of completing the game they decided to pour millions into marketing and road the hype train fueled by Bungies reputation, all the way to launch. And now everyone knows it. That is why you are seeing the comments you are.

First world problems?[/quote] People are complaining about the same issues over and over again not because we are clueless, but because we are sincerely disappointed in where Destiny is presently. I've been on a decent number of different game forums in my time, and there is a lot more complaining on these forum threads than any other I've seen. But it's for good reason. If one person tells you that your game is lacking you might not care. If thousands upon thousands voice their concerns, the point gets across.

The forums do seem to be a sad state of affairs. I guess the anonymity of social media makes fickle cats into growling tigers. I highly doubt if we were to come across a majority of this forum population in real life, they would act in the manner as they currently do on the forums. I, myself am not a avid forum poster and usually content to watch and sometimes like other posts. However, I am finding it increasingly difficult to navigate the myriad of "troll post" for the lack of a better word. I do think this is a reflection of the immaturity of the posters and the lack of respect and diversity in the majority of gamers. I do admit destiny can be improved, and I have seen some very well thought out and written posts which do provide constructive criticism. Also have seen some well written counter arguments and opinions. For those who continue to write and articulate with respect for other fellow gamers, I salute you and hope to see you starside P.S. I sincerely feel there needs to be some form of forum moderation before this situation goes even more toxic.

9 RepliesSays the level 11 who is 10 hours in. Come back when you've at least cleared VoG on normal. My 100+ is an indicator that I've explored and achieved a good chunk of the game. That bring said, the game is smaller than what it's suppose to be, see the reddit ama.

Feedback forum. What did you expect? Some people defend it mindlessly, some people hate it blindly. There are those in between that criticize or support within reason. Yep - it is a first world problem. But you shouldn't expect rationality and people being self aware of real issues in a gaming forum. :). I didn't mean any of that in a shitty way.

5 RepliesOn the otherhand blindly supporting this game as amazing is a huge disservice to yourself, bungie and the survivability of this game, sure ill be first to admit that some are trolls, or blowing a fuse over it, but quite alot, more so than the trolls and fuseblowers, are making fair points, that show this game needs fixing and an overhaul. Have you considered that it might be bad to simply accept was given to you. because that would legitmise setting the bar lower and lower, of gaming quality and whats ok, , somthing thats been happening the past decade.

I have resulted in a mix of trolling/harsh education on these ignorant gamers and I must say...it is a great feeling
