The year is now 2235, we live on mars after we made earth unstable back in world war 4, we are a thriving and growing civilization on mars now, and we are almost done building FTL warp drives to go even further beyond our boundaries, with more updates to come.... It seems to be a rover. On the side there seems to be the word - Curiosity. Seems to be from "NASA", never heard of that country before. I'll report this to the royal family tomorrow morning. {Log Two} I came into the lab today and saw it in ruins. Someone had broken in and stolen the rover. The Emperor was not very happy to hear that. I'm packing up right now, as I'm being sent to the war vessel Athena, they need the new armor to be calibrated. Great. I'm being sent to help some brutish soldiers use the armor that was made to protect, not kill.

Several technicians, scientists, assistants, and engineers all applaud Lilith and two of them even bring out a cake. Lilith: Aww... You guys, thank you. I'll miss you all. It was a dream to work with all of you wonderful people. Except Braun. He can rot in hell for all I care. The gathered crowd laughs at Braun's expense. The camera pans over to the completed ATHEON I, it now sports some lightweight, highly damage and heat resistant metal alloy plates in various places all over the suit. The helmet, gloves, and boots are all made from the strongest materials money can buy, with the best advancements to come out of a research institute since the handheld portable laser weapon. A volunteer wearing the suit aims his left wrist, encased completely in the ATHEON I Prototype Powered Assault Armor, at a mock enemy combatant holding a rifle-sized firearm. After confirming a target lock via the suit's HUD, the left wrist mounted Light Anti-Personnel Gun fires a small, about pinky finger sized, beam of energy at the target, proceeding to burn through the target, and ten inches of reinforced metal plating behind it. He then does the same for the right wrist, with the same result. Then he uses both at once. The bolts collide with each other halfway through the target, and unexpectedly explode. Not very powerfully, but it would still be devastating to an organic enemy hit by such an extremely difficult to pull off shot. Sanderson: Dear god... O-okay, um, let's... 3 Replies//MISRIAH M-COM: LOG 20-1598-32// ATHEON I: PLAYBACK BEGIN// Sanderson: Alright... we've finished the prototype's armor... we're now going to test it's ability to absorb and distribute incoming kinetic, and thermal, energy trauma. A black suit of unknown material is on a mannequin, in front of a standard ballistics range. Four different sized bullets are fired at the mannequin, in various locations, four different times. The smallest round, the standard 9mm, doesn't penetrate the suit in any of the locations, and bounces off of the material harmlessly. The second smallest, the 5.56mm round, does not penetrate the suit in any of the locations either. The second largest, the 12.7mm round, manages to dent the mannequin, but does not penetrate the suit in any of the locations.The largest round, a full on 50. Caliber round, also does not penetrate the suit, but transfers huge amounts of kinetic-blunt force trauma, cracking the less resistant mannequin underneath severely. This is revealed as some technicians remove the suit, each time, between firing the different rounds. They replace the mannequin with a new one, and put the suit back onto the mannequin. Several different laser weapons are then fired at the mannequin, with no noticeable damage done to the suit. Internal temperature gauges on the suit tag the temperatures of the blasts at five hundred degrees Fahrenheit for the weakest hit, going all the way up to fifty thousand Fahrenheit for the strongest. Thankfully, the mannequin did not melt as horribly as it could have from the extreme heat, thanks to the suits advanced heat dispersal and energy collection technology. Sanderson: Good, good test. And this was a beautiful day, full of opportunity, both for himself and the customer... He turned on the shop's holographic signs, written in Galactic Standard and Martian, before returning to the desk, enjoying the breeze as he always did.
