1 ReplyOf course it was fake, anyone who read that "report" and actually believed it well and truly had their pants pulled down. It doesn't take much for gullible people to break their necks in order to hate on some fictional information which was coincedenatly "found" shortly after the YouTube video went viral. Just reading the whole post, anyone with an ounce of common sense could see it was literally just slapped together by a lone virgin, basement dwelling individual with far too much time on their hands. The creator mentioned key specific points in the whole article and yet never actually gave a direct responce to those supposed "questions". All the answers given were all regurgitated shit found from other sources and written in a fashion catered to suit the YouTube leak. How many times have you heard or seen some individual on the internet claiming to be a highly accomplished Developer, or how they've been in the industry for years and have nothing to show for it. Then there's my favorite... "My dad works for *input company name here, so it's obvious I'm telling the truth". To the untrained eye, these individuals who spend their time typing shit like this up in the hopes to rile up the community are the most efficient and effective trolls around. Just take a step back and think about it for a second, you fools. IF this supposed person did indeed work for / with Bungie and i343 Studios, what makes you think he would just come out with this shit now? Why not before release or better still, on launch day? I don't know what's more worrying, the fact that trolls are getting more experienced in their jobs or that people in this world are seriously as thick as pig shit.

3 RepliesPlot twist. It was Deej all along!
-
2 RepliesIt's the internet, believe only half of what you see and nothing of what you hear.

1 ReplyThis drama and the story that appeared on Reddit is more compelling and suspenseful than Destiny itself.
-
1 ReplyIf an AMA cannot provide proof, which can be given anonymously as it has many many times before, then its bullshit, as it always has been in past fake AMA's. Quit being a -blam!-ing moron.
-
so was the moon landing and kennedey's assassination was a fake and roswell doesnt have aliens if you have a problem with believing something to be true or not read Russel's Teapot Its short i promise. So unless you have no way to prove otherwise you cant prove otherwise if that was a troll it was a damn good one...or was it too good that it was truth in troll disguise?
-
2 RepliesI don't care about the AMA honestly, but the guy brung up a few points... Mainly how this isn't the game we were promised and I think it's EXTREMELY likely that Destiny's story was gutted and redone within a year/11-9 months
-
4 RepliesIt brought attention to obvious problems with Destiny, so to be honest I don't care if it was fake.
-
5 RepliesSounds like false info. that post to me seems very believable and the fact that it was taken down after it was popularized only heightens the speculation.
-
9 RepliesProven how? Because Bungie said so? fanboys...
-
I believe it's real, Activision has a reason to pull that down and so does Bungie.
-
1 ReplyEven if that is true, that just proves a troll can make a better story for Destiny.
-
Am I still the only person who is watching and waiting? I will judge on how this game unfolds, not by words on the internet, regardless of where they come from. Actions > words. Either way this goes, someones gonna get a face full of egg...
-
What does that have to do with anything
-
The story from the reddit post sounded better than what was in the full game.

bullshit

3 RepliesEdited by Kaelef: 9/30/2014 4:17:19 AMHow would posts possibly be older than the account itself unless someone with access to the Reddit servers tried to hack something? Why go to any of that trouble when it's far easier to just create an annonymous account and write whatever you want? Just say you don't believe the guy was a Bungie insider and be done with it. You don't have to make up mysterious shit about it. DeeJ can no more prove that wasn't a Bungie employee than we can prove he was.
-
That won't stop everyone from panicking and making their own thread to give their "unique" opinion, all of which revolve around them knowing best.
-
12 Repliesgamers in a big hurry to hate this game, in a month they'll hate something else and destiny will keep chugging

1 Replywhat reddit post
-
52 RepliesSo you did not post pics of this? Until you show us proof, i still believe the reddit ama was legit

SHOCKING
-
15 RepliesIt's fake. I still trust DeeJ. Out of many, many things Bungie staff have not directly lied to the community. (Even the ViDocs were misleading instead of "All a lie!" considering it was never stated when stuff would be coming out over the life cycle.) Does it really matter though? The post is a symptom, not a cause. The cause is an information vacuum, and Bungie is unfortunately in a bind here. You can't just shoot out comments from the hip, those aren't terribly accurate. However, the longer the vacuum continues, the more trust erodes. Rock and Hard Place issue of needing to talk fast, but also needing to accurately talk. Fast and accurate do not go together.

7 RepliesHave to admit: has anyone fact-checked the 500mil return in 7 days? That would have to be the Dead giveaway.

10 RepliesDeej said it was a troll...that's more than enough for me.
