Edited by General_Nonsence: 9/28/2014 3:59:28 AM[EDIT: this post assumes you can get to the boss fight] killing riksis I can do consistantly. ignore any minions that aren't a big threat. Bring a fire special weapon and it's a pretty easy fight. the other one i think i can solo is the shrine mission on the moon. Bring an Arclight special. kill the knights and thralls ignore the accolites unless they grow to many in number. what to bring: bring a rocket launcher preferably with mulligan and clown cartridge the basic strat: farm spawns for rocket ammo fire rockets into the boss's face repeatedly. why this works: minions spawn continuously through out the entire fight you will never have time to put sustained DPS on the boss which means you need massive alpha damage a rocket provides this in spades. you want to spend as much time as possible cutting down swaths of minions so they don't overwhelm you and as little time as possible killing the boss. mulligan and clown cartridge are important because you are going to need as much launcher ammo as possible clown cartridge will occasionally spawn an extra rocket in the chamber and mulligan has a chance to return missed rockets to you. glossery of terms: DPS - damage per second alpha - damage per bullet for an example of the rocket launcher in question, look at the heavy slot on my titan. it is worth mentioning that I did this with a defender class titan, less well armored classes may encounter trouble. also I didn't have my exotic primary or any legendary armor at the time I did it so if you don't have them don't worry about it. as low as a rare caliber weapon and armor worked for me (fully upgraded)

Edited by Red Lethal: 9/28/2014 3:36:12 AMSeveral times. Not that hard. If you can't do it quit and try a different kill order mission. Use your sniper on shielded enemies and take it slow. Super and Heavy the boss. Super easy. Got like 8 helmets and one chest piece. They changed it so I can't break them down into ascendant shards so I am not sure what the point is. I did it as a level 26 Hunter.

A few times around. The only one that is insanely tricky (in the sense of more then just a very high level of patience and having proper damage guns) is the Black Garden, as you're gonna have huge troubles handling the adds (which spawn continously without breaks) and the boss at once.
-
I've soloed some they're not too.
-
I know my warlock was having a real tough time with the one on Venus with all of the gates outside and sniper hobgoblin/Minotaur combo goin on. I was 25 I think. Not sure i jumped from 24 to 26 really fast after being stuck on 24 for several sessions
-
I've done a few. But now they're pointless so I no longer bother with them.
-
Yes. 2 times. And the second was the Black Garden for my first time. Only died once....cause I suck.
-
I soloed a couple before they made them pointless. They're pretty easy.
-
yes, i did twice and honestly i wouldn't consider myself some amazing player... both of the times it actually wasn't that difficult and i started and finished solo. i mean, it wasn't easy, i just had to take my time. then i had one guy join me and he got kicked and it was maybe twice as hard i would say. so i don't know if difficulty adjusts with how many people you have starting but it certainly seems like it.

Level 28 gear on and the ice breaker lol those shields are such a pain without that sniper.
-
Yes, it's a matter of the elements on the gun, once you get the correct element on your weapon (solar, Arc, Void) then the mission should be fairly easy...in my opinion.
-
I did them solo, than they got rid of the point of doing those missions, now I delete them if I get them.
-
Yes just keep playing it until you get the devil archon mission Get a solar damage weapon Kick ass I was level 24 with no legendarys except the final boss sniper and I beat it
-
Look for solar, arc, and void damage modifiers. They increase the damage done by ANY source.
-
Three times.
-
Many times it really is not that hard
-
Many. With my amazing set of gear.
-
If people would understand that the damage modifiers affect both the player and the enemies they would realize how easy they actually are. Just match your weapons damage type with the damage modifier and it's actually pretty simple to solo these, especially if you're using a fusion rifle.
-
If you can't solo the kill orders you probably should stop playing this game.
-
All of them
-
Multiple times. My ice breaker never fails me.
-
ive soloed pretty much all of them. never gotten a weapon though, always get the robe...
-
I would like to say all of them but that would be a lie because I got the classic network error just as I was about to down the Cabal dude in the Mars mission, it was just a matter of seconds and I was in no danger since all the adds were dead. I have avoided the Mars missions since though because it is way more time consuming than the rest of them.
-
Yeah, as many as I could before they fixed the shard exploit. Also did the weekly 28 heroic, just play conservatively and use the boosted weapons.
-
Yup. It's pretty easy as a Sunsinger, and if you get The Supremacy sniper rifle.
-
I've solo'd it about 5-6 times. The trick is to know what damage type to use in order to get past those pesky shields. After that it's just being careful and playing it smart.
