Shrine of Oryx Glitch
When playing through the "Shrine of Oryx" mission on the moon I have encountered this glitch numerous times, on more than one occasion just today. The glitch basically makes the mission objective never update from one of the marked destinations you're supposed to reach as you progress through the hive fortress. If you read the objective, it says to delve deeper, but as you can see, I go as far as to enter the room that the shrine is located in, and kill all the Acolytes inside. Notice that this does not trigger Sardok, or any of his minions to spawn, so that I may complete the mission. Instead, I am still told to delve deeper, and my objective marker tells me to go back to the destination I was orignally standing on. You can see all of this in the youtube video I attached. This has been an issue since the first day, and desperately needs to be fixed.
Has anyone else encountered this glitch? It happens to me about 50% of the time I do this mission, which is a huge issue considering this is one of the most common, and best rewarding vanguard bounty missions. Hopefully Bungie will take notice of this, and fix it soon.

Had this happen to me AGAIN today on the daily mission.

1 ReplyI've had it happen to me also, I fix it by backtracking all the way to respawn restricted zone and just wiping. It's a hassle, but it works. It is annoying and unnecessary though.

You have to kill ALL ADDS (Dregs, Thralls, Acolytes) on your way to the shrine) in the darkness zones. I got out of it by backtracking and killing all dregs before the room in which the wizard guards that tube shaped pathway thing

Happens all the god damn time to me

Happened to me a few times, pretty sure it's when you leave a few adds, but never use to be like that before.

Yup, happened 3/3 runs through the daily. First Xûr now this. Terrible coding.

Happened to me earlier when doing the daily heroic, just gotta keep passing through that part till it updates.
