Issues Playing Destiny on One Character and Viewing Profile

I have been having multiple issues with Destiny since the update yesterday. I am on a home network. After the patch, I was playing with a friend and we both got disconnected from the servers at the same time approximately 12pm MDT. Since then I have been having issues. I restarted my Xbox and modem/router, and tested my connection on the Xbox. Nothing showed up as problematic, 50Mbps download and 10Mbps upload with a 0% packet loss, open NAT and the Destiny ports are open on my router's firewall. I can sign into Destiny up to the character selection screen, but when I select my Hunter (Character slot 1) I get the Centipede error. I created 2 new characters, a Warlock in slot 2 and a Titan in slot 3, both of which I can play on with no issues. I proceeded to log into Bungie to view my profile but it says error to load profile. I had a friend attempt to view my profile through his friends list on Bungie.net and he was able to. I cannot view my profile through the Destiny Companion App either. Is there anything that can be done? I would love to continue playing Destiny as soon as possible. I love this game. Please help! Thank you

  • Same thing here with the only exception being that I cannot even log in to see my character slots. I press A on the destiny title screen, it then shows the loading icon in the bottom right and says logging in, a few moments later I get the error message with code centipede. I made a new xbox account and that can play destiny with no problems at all.
