Today I've received Errors: Caterpillar, Centipede, and Monkey back to back with Monkey being the most prominent one. I've stopped using WiFi to play Destiny and ran a LAN cable from my router. I always receive the errors within 30 seconds to 5 minutes of beginning a Campaign mission. Help...
Update: all platforms are affected. I've tried restarting my PS4, router, and my modem. None work. It's definitely a server issue or a problem with today's hot fix. Most likely, the hot fix update is the cause of the issue. Expect there to be a new patch released soon. @Bungie there's a lot of pissed off fans out here. Get your shit together and test these patches before letting them past QA!
Update: seems to be working for me now. I've been playing now for over a half hour.

I've looked at the router and Xbox One configurations and the NAT is wide open and all ports are forwarded according to instructions. The odd thing I've noticed is that if I start a mission on my own, I get kicked at some point. I can never finish it without getting kicked multiple times. It's gotten so frustrating and hopeless that I've essentially stopped doing solo missions. Here's where it gets interesting. I can do Crucible, patrols, and do missions, strike missions, etc as long as I'm in a group. I hardly ever get kicked when in another group. The second I try to do missions solo, I get kicked at some point before finishing. PLEASE HELP!!! This is supremely frustrating for me and my son. We can't enjoy this game.
