Queens Wrath Gear (Light amount per item)
So, for those of you who don't know, you must acquire raid gear in order to reach level 30. The reason being is because legendary gear we have now can only reach 27 light (per gear item), while raid gear can get 30 (per gear item). Now, do you think that the Queens wrath gear will be able to get 30 light (per gear item), or just 27 (per gear item)? What do you think?
Edit: Some people are confusing light. I mean each item can get 27 light, not to level 27. If you have three legendaries it gives 111 light. You need 120 to reach level 30. So, you need 3 raid gear items to get the 120 light.

4 Repliesthe list of gear that will be available that i saw only showed weapons, shaders, embalms and class items. No armor so unless someone can supply a link to showing armor I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Sucks that this event is so limited as far as time, it's going to be a pain trying to complete all the bounties especially the ones where you have to complete a lvl 27 & 28 strike without dying.

It's gonna go to 30 depending on your level cause it says both unique gear for legendary AND rare

4 RepliesThis thread is totally false. Upgrading your gear upgrades your light level, you can get to lvl30 with vendor gear if it's fully upgraded. While you are right raid gear is better than vendor gear, it doesn't mean it gets you to 30 automatically.

13 RepliesThere needs to be a way to reach 30 without playing the Raid. Period. I'm not saying with Queen's Wrath gear, but there has to be some other way. I'll eventually get around to playing the Raid (once Bungie fixes the rewards) so it's not a problem for me, but for players that don't or won't play the Raid, they still need some other way to reach 30.
