Angry Review is up
And i think Joe is absolutely right. There are so many aspects of the game where destiny is as good as we would expect from bungie, but the story doesn't even start before the end credits roll. They totally sold us an incomplete game, with a DLC card in the package. I defended bungie wherever i could when people said the activision alliance isn't a good idea, but look what they have done. Do you guys think they planned on shipping the game with this introduction story to destiny in mind? Do you really think they thought this would be enough? I don't.

3 RepliesWatched a minute, and then he started talking about "beginning, middle, and end". Obviously no one realized this game is designed and ENTIRELY marketed as the beginning. The story is slim and could be better, but they are releasing more and more content and if you didn't expect this I don't know what game you thought you were buying...

7 RepliesI think you and "Angry Joe" have valid points, but I can't agree with your viewpoints. I've already gotten more out of this game than I have any game since Grand Theft Auto V a year ago. Could they have done more? Sure, but calling it a poor game because of that is just greedy.

There are a few parts of the game i like, but it is seriously lacking content. I personally will not be buying the dlc for this. Level 21 and the game is just a mind numbing experience right now. I still have no clue what is even going on in the story. The missions were so dull i just stopped paying attention.

Am really pissed about the loot in this game. Its sooooo -blam!-ing random it pisses me off, when i play with my friends am always the first and i always get the green or rare loot but they get the exotic ones. And finally when i got an exotic armor i got it for another class, coommee on dude like wtf is that. I really do like playing this game but they really need to fix the fairness in this game cause its frustrating. And the campaign also needs some fixing and explaining. I might have the worst kind of luck which sucks for me. I just hope that they do something about all the issues that joe have mentioned because am facing the same shit as he is facing .

It's an average game. Don't know how many reviewers have to give this game a poor to average reviews for the fanboys to get it. I used to at least like the PvP. Now the PvP is more frustrating and actually has me looking to buy a Xbox One for Halo 5.

I like Joe and Agree The story was very lackluster compared to their previous series and it doesn't feel big at all, I didn't feel like a legend after beating it.

I don't usually like Angry Joe, but I couldn't find any points that I disagreed with on this one. He also gave it about the same score that I did (6/10).

Red flags went up for me when Joe Staten left Bungie halfway through development. His writing and direction made Halo a deep and compelling story from start to finish, something Destiny is lacking.

I have to agree with Angry Joe here for the most part. Destiny can be fun, but it can also feel like an empty shooting gallery with many ill considered game design. The story and much of the game surrounding it is fairly hollow and disjointed. It's a real shame because Destiny has a lot of potential, but I'm sceptical as to how much Bungie & Activision can follow up on that potential at this point. I just don't see myself sticking at Destiny once more games come out for the PS4 and I can't see myself pre-ordering the pricey (to me) DLC pass for a game that seems unfinished as it is.

Idk other then the story feeling like the pilot episode of a tv show, the game is pretty solid. Easy to get into with tons of potential. The pvp is lots of fun, all the maps are well designed and easy to memorize. The one thing that's spotty is the melee system but it's acceptable.

Quite on the money; but I am still playing the game and enjoy it. But, will I buy Destiny 2? Not if it is the same formula repeated.

1 ReplyThis was highly entertaining. But i have to disagree on most points. Yes, the story mode sucked. But as far as the price points i feel like i have gotten my moneys worth many times over. At this point in time i have spent over 100 hours in the game, which i feel like i get from very few games i have ever bought. And i cannot wait to play more. So yes, the story was painfully disappointing but the game overall in my opinion is incredible.

Lel this review was funny as. Destiny is pissing me off so much cause of the crucible , servers are bad and they still havent fixed it yet. so disappointed with bungie , definately not gonna buy the expansion pass till everything is fixed.
