u get 2 shards for each legendary item u dismantle, i did it bcz i had 2 warlock legendary boots, and im a hunter

There isn't a way to farm them.

I've searched a lot of places and can't find a guide to farming ascendant shards. I have seen them be given out during the raid, but other than that I've only gotten mine from doing the first public event of the day bs.
