I'm not sure where the Foundation went, but I admired it's work in helping areas in crisis. I think it's beautiful when communities can come together and help people by supporting games, their developers, etc.
So this is what I propose: I hope that DeeJ or any staff member reads this. The Ebola crisis in west Africa is certainly doing some damage to the people there. Almost 3,000 dead and 5,000 infected with the deadly disease, with numbers steadily rising. Only now are countries, such as the US and China, starting to give heavy support in this sad growing conflict, but I think we, as a community, could do more.
I wasn't here for our contribute towards relief for the victims of Hurricane Katrina or the victims of the Haiti earthquake, but it's beautiful that we all came together and donated in ways that were awesome. I think Destiny could be that answer again as Halo was. With a continuous growing community, I think we could band together to offer aid to the countries that are being ravaged by such a threatening obstacle.
Please Bungie let's be brave and help those that need it.
7hank you.

I've made threads about the Bungie Foundation in the past. I usually get no replies. It's seems like Bungie doesn't care for charity work lately.
-
If I were you Higgy, I'd make a tournament, present a grand prize for the 1st place winner, and have players buy-in their spots Then donate all the money for your cause. Hint*
-
I admire you in your efforts fellow guardian.

Triple bump.
-
I agree with every thing you are saying. We as a community can do almost anything if we put our minds ( and money ) together.
-
Not being mean but not everyone cares or cares about others people s problems. Just saying.

This is a very cool post man. My wife is a medflight nurse, she and i believe 30 other nurses and doctors from her hospital are all headed to Africa. Getting permission and getting all the paperwork done seems to be a giant pain in the ass tho. They were supposed to leave, last week but with all the delays, they may not be able to go until mid october now.

C'mon Bungie. You just made 500 million dollars on this game. Think you could spare a little of that?
