the Best Thing I've Seen In This Game
So my buddy and I were patrolling on the moon, and I was just dancing on a cliff while he was finishing the Knuckleduster (Melee 30 enemies w/o dying) bounty.
I said, "Watch you die with one left, haha"
Right then a public event happened and it said protect the Warsat, so I jumped and glided 360 style looking for where it will land.
Two or three flashes of light and a humongous boom later, I see that my comrade has fallen. The Warsat landed right on top of him in a big open field where it could of crashed anywhere!
He had one kill left when he died... I was literally crying because I was laughing so hard.
Anyone care to share their funniest Destiny moment?
Update: I was patrolling on Mars, chest farming and I was hit by a cabal shield, and like many I was sent flying. But not into a wall or another cabal like everyone else.
I flew about 350 feet above the exclusion zone wall straight up into the air and hit the invisible ceiling. It scared me so hard I blinked back up into the ceiling a second time before misjudging my blink to try to land safely and imprinted my body into the sand between 4 cabal instead, haha. I could see the curvature of Mars basically, haha.
Update 2: Botched a grenade in PvP on Blind watch, bouncing it in a doorway just after an enemy enters, I try to run out right when it explodes and I kill myself and the burn gets him, so he got no points due to the suicide, and I got the kill, had me laughing for a while of how pissed and flabbergasted he must of been of that incredible luck.

So i was playing a little crucible the other day and the game was really close. We were playing control on the moon( in my opinion the worst map ever) and out of the corner of my eye i see a hunter from the opposing team use his super, which was golden gun. Assuming he was about to try and clear area C, i was going to attempt to snipe him. So i got out my sniper and was about to aim and he wasn't their... I then see this on the left hand side of the screen"d-man34 is down" then i see it. He had hopped off a tiny hill and he died. Glitch? Possibly but he could have been on low health. However its the funniest thing I've seen.

I was watching my girlfriend play her warlock, and she was on the moon as well. An event was popping up just like yours, and she and some other random guy met at one point, and were just waiting to see where it landed. And wouldn't you know it, it landed right on top of her and that other guy. I even saved video of it so that I could post it later, hehe.

1 ReplyLast night a buddy and I were doing the weekly strike and we were at the three wave gate stage. Well three knights run out and insta killed him. Then all three of them commenced to shooting his corpse. I sat and watched for at least 2 minutes before finally helping. Funniest ever.

1 ReplyLol same thing happened to me, my buddy and 2 ransoms . We were near treasure cave farming and the damn thing landed on all 4 of us. Funniest/most upsetting thing ever.

9 RepliesMy funniest moment is anytime I'm playing my Striker class Titan in PVP and I Flying knee people to the face, despite them struggling in vain. -spots me, begins shooting- "Whats he doing, hes not shooting, just running at me. Noob" -still shooting- "SHIT hes not dead, DIE" -Flying knee to the face, laughs with a short dance as the enemy flips lifelessly into a corner-

1 ReplyI got killed in a hit and run by someone on a Sparrow... It flung me off the path and into a crevasse lol. I said "Oh bother... darn it. That silly person"... or words to the same effect. :} I've also killed myself by throwing a grenade at a bunch of enemies. I have the Bloom (explosive) effect active and it detonated a whole bunch of them, and off I flew through the ground - yeah, right through the floor of the map lol. I tend to die more through falling damage than by enemy fire it seems. Death by ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Warsats landing on people seems to be a fairly common occurance! I've seen in happen a few times now, and I still laugh just as hard as the first time it happened. What poor luck...

Edited by brewsntattoos: 9/18/2014 1:12:19 PMive seen a warsat land on someone before. was pretty good. i glitched through the floor once on the moon. fell for about 8 seconds. another time a friend was in his inventory, so i kept messing with him asking him questions about items and such. the whole time i was pushing his avatar around. pushed him down the stairs by the dead orbit folks. shoved him into a corner by some boiler looking thing and left. he came out of the screen and had no idea where he was at or what happened.

2 RepliesI was capturing a zone in the crucible, and someone stupidly tried to defend it by shooting a rocket at me. The poor guy ended up clipping the wall and blew himself up.

4 RepliesMy favorite destiny moment wasn't my death but the enemy's. So in pvp on control as a defender titan I placed my ward of dawn right on B when a group of 5 people come and start trying to destroy my "shield" in any way possible, even throwing knives at it. I also had the perk that gives me over shields so when they walked in the "shield" they got a face full of shotgun. THE END

Playing the vault of glass and just after the jumping puzzle one of our strike team go afk in the hallway sitting down infront of the door, so all 5 of us slowly push him to the edge of the cliff halfway he stands up so it's easier and we all just push him right over the edge then when his ghost appears dance round it in a circle, revive him and do it all again haha

Typical Warsat drop. My friend and I were happy to finally see an event, and we were both wondering where its gunna land. Not even after a second of saying that all I hear is a big boom and my buddy died. LOL Another one I was doing the 9,000exp without dying, we we're doing a level 24 strike while I was still like level 22 so it took forever. After finally beating the boss I of course celebrated by jumping off the map. Immediately after doing so I just literally like -____- I was at 5,000exp. I totally forgot about the bounty. LMAO Last one so far doing a hive mission. I turn the corner and see some thralls on the ground eating from the pile of bones. Only they were next to each other and it looked like one was eating the others ass...no joke saved the clips for future giggles. Lovin Destiny and everyones stories are cracking me up here!! *Rotten Luck Gaming*

So i was fighting that one final enemy on the Archive Mission in Venus, and the guy was almost dead. I come around the corner, look immediately right, throw my throwing knife, but he still moving so practically my knife misses, however my knife just so happens to hit an exploding object killing him.

My fiancée had the warsat part happen to her the other day, then she was running on the moon and was sniping some acolytes, there were 4 of them, she shot one the one next to him look at him looked back at her started moving. She shot another he looked at that one then back at her and moved again, she shot another he looked at that one back at her got to cover, she had to move a little and wait but she shot him too but it was like he was going "crap he's dead." after every shot. As for me I play a hunter I was finishing up getting some spin metal on earth when I spotted a chest, I tried jumping to it (I don't have triple jump yet) from several angles even falling to my death, it was up on part of a cement support were the tanks are in Russia and the vandels with the reaver spawn.

4 RepliesI was doing a patrol on Mars, got melee'd by a phalanx guy. I kid you not, I shot to the other end of the zone, hit the wall and died on impact... all in about 1 second. Must have been Ahnold in his 20's lol

10 RepliesI was doing the Tarus' strike on mars with two random players, we came to the part with the two Major (yellow health bar) Hydra's, we kill the second one and the both kids run up to its dead body, I knew they explode when they hit the ground so I sat back and watched the show as this two level 24 players were launched into the rockface beside them and died, all i hear on the mic is "oh, that was unfortunate" I could not stop laughing

8 RepliesThere was a good 8-10 guardians kicking the purple ball around the tower out front by the vaults and the ball ended up going over the rail. They all jumped over the rail right after it to their obvious demise. Crazy purple ball zealouts.

My buddy and I ran the Cerberus Vae mission with a random. We get to the boss room, we have our rifles zoomed in ready to fire once Valus' invincibility wears off. The random supers him right after he fires his minigun everywhere, at which point he promptly backpedals and the door closes with him back inside that room he comes from. We were dying laughing until he teleported back out and started shooting us.

Cruising around Mars, my friend found a VERY tall sand dune on the edge of the map- when we got to the top, we got the "turn back" message. We must have spent 15 minutes laughing hysterically, watching one another run up the hill, die, and slide all the way down. We also rode sparrows up- upon death, our Guardians did HUGE backflips off them before sliding down the dune into oblivion.
