Why is "The provided clan name or clan tag is not acceptable, please choose another."?
I've had a Bungie group for over five years and now I'm trying to turn it into a clan. But no matter what I type in for a Clan ID it says, "The provided clan name or clan tag is not acceptable, please choose another." At first I thought there was rules to how many characters you could have or something to that affect. But doesn't seem like it when i look at other clans. just like to know what I am doing wrong or why it wont work. Thanks.

2 RepliesWhen you go to create your clan we have to submit it to Sony/Microsoft. You are failing their filter. They don't return specific reasons to us.

6 RepliesWhen activating your clan, it should just keep the name you used as your group, I don't believe you have to enter or change your name. Have you tried on a different browser? Or perhaps cleared your cookies and cache?
