so does anyone other than me actually LIKE destiny?
So im seeing alot of hate threads but the problem is the game is fine the only problem i have is bungies false promises.
I LOVE this game to death but i wish bungie wouldnt have overhyped it :/
Im still gonna buy all the DLC and expansion after 1 and 2 though (got LE)
So hbu guys? Was anyone smart enough to go into this game without the hyped expectations and like it

I like it too. I'm having tons of fun on it, can't wait for the expansions to come out! My only complaint is that there are so many other games coming out, but I don't want to put this down XD

Tons of people like destiny, my guess is more do than dont, but we all know that you hear the conplainers alot louder than the praisers.

I feel like it is a good first try. It feels new. It plays good. It dose have some problems. Story repetition, Go here get that, shoot this 1 million times! The MP lacks a variety of maps. No open chat. people just randomly running through your game. Blah, Blah Blah! But it is the first game in a series of games from Bungie. So What I do see is a good foundation for a bright future in the world of Destiny!

I'm a level 20 with about 15 hours into the game and haven't even touched Venus yet. I am savoring this game and loving every second.

I love this game alot, but as much as i love this game, im not gonna lie and say that there isn't anything wrong with the game. Theres a few things about Destiny that bothers me. But other than that, if you didn't overhype to much for Destiny, then you shouldn't be to dissapointed.

I loved it when I first started playing it. Fantastic game play and guns feel nice to shoot. I feel it's pretty shallow right now however. I don't really like that basically there are 5 maps for the campaign. I don't feel like the rare drops are as much of an exciting upgrade like Diablo's drops are, but I'm also not even level 20 yet. We'll see how it shapes up, but I kind of wish there were more leveling up options also. I'd like to see more skills for the characters. I'd like to see an upgrade to the bubble shield the titan drops that allows you to shoot through it for a few seconds or something.

Yup, I am enjoying this game for what it is, not for what everyone thought it was going to be. Once you get past the hype and realize it's not a GREAT, it can be enjoyed for being a GOOD game.

I like it, but I find all the strikes to be the same. More health, more waves. That's all they add. There is no dimension to the fights. I fear raids will be the same.

I was hiped like crazy. I wasent really let down except for the shortness of the story. It's a good start and will expand more on the futer. Only thing I hope for is a more likable main character

This game is actually going places. Honestly the people who are hating need to realize that Destiny is really a new take and is not like most games.

the problem is the vocal minority that played the game for a few hours and gave up..the people that actually like/love the game are too busy playing to care about the haters, or to even post a positive comment on here to out weigh the negative

I love it, it has brought back alot of my friends together, thanks to its Co-op. Met countless new players, the game has been nothing but a blast on my side.

4 RepliesEven though I've been following the game for over a year, it never felt over-hyped to me. The storyTELLING is underwhelming; but the story itself is pretty intriguing. There's a lot of depth that Bungie has set up to be explored. It seems pretty clear that they are in it for the long term, and have made decisions with that in mind. Does this mean they will be bleeding us for more money? Yes. But the paid for DLC is something I view as being a sort of compromise on the normal subscription or freemium model you get with an MMO game. In return we get stuff like these weekly events, this website, and other continued support that we wouldn't normally see with more traditional console games. The pass for purchasing DLC ahead of time is becoming a common site in games today anyway. CoD and Titanfall are doing it as well. This isn't something new and unusual. Basically I'm very happy with my purchase, and excited to see how the game grows over time. Activision and Bungie's choice to play the long game was very risky; and I admire them for it.

love the game when i get to play it, i would waste hours playing if the connection issues werent there, thats the main problem overall imo
