Physical pre-order: Vanguard armory code?
OK, so I pre-ordered Destiny *way* back in November last year from Amazon UK. Am I supposed to have a code to enter for the Vanguard Armory items, or does it happen automatically? Because the box I got today didn’t have such a thing. Not a big deal — it’s a great game anyway, even without pre-order loot.
[b]Update[/b]: I'm asking Activision support about this at the moment. Will post more when I have an answer.

Im having sort of the same problem my code I have says it's already been used is there a way to get a new code? I would kinda like to be able to use it, but if not then that's fine since its a really amazing game but, having this would be cool too!

Edited by Jim934: 9/16/2014 8:17:31 AMI had the same issue - pre-ordered my copy from Tesco though. Still wasn't given a code in the box or via email. Tesco were less than helpful and just said it wasn't their promotion and so would not help. I used this site to set up a support ticket with bungie/activision just explaining that I had preordered as indicated on their website but hadn't been given a code. I mentioned I had proof of date of purchase and screen shots of their website directing my preorder to Tesco to get the bonus. About 6-7 days later Activision replied with a Vanguard code, no questions asked. So I can't really complain. Might be worth anyone else doing the same if you haven't already. To set up the "ticket" I clicked on help on the menu to the left of this page <<<< then chose option 3. This takes you to an FAQ, if you scroll to the bottom there is a link regarding replacement vanguard/DLC codes. Click it and it takes you to the form. Or you can follow http://support.activision.com/destinycodesupport which is the same link. It asks for your code, as the ticket is really for a code that doesn't work. However I just left that field blank and explained in the text box below. You need to fill out all the other boxes you can though (PSN/Bungie ID etc...)

Same here. Preordered from Gamestop. I received the e-mail for the red sparrow code. No email or code in the box for the other limited edition stuff.

1 ReplyI can help u out here follow these steps. 1. Get out your game case 2. You should see a paper that says things like gear up day one. 3. Turn that paper over and your code is on the back

i \am happy to see i am not the only person effected by this. I pre ordered in october, and the promo video did NOT state that this was exclusive to certain retailers.

I feel you all, Limited Edition Preorder from Amazon and no Collectors Items code nor any Vanguard Armory code at all. Not TOO worried about the vanguard armory but I'd at least like the ingame LE items I spent all this extra cash on :x Hopefully some kind of response or update or any kind of acknowledgement at all will come out soon because so far I haven't seen any form of a response or comment at all on this issue which seemns pretty widespread :\ In the meantime though I'm off to mars!

My limited edition has everything except the expansion pass code insert...also, my playstation plus code does not work. However, the other two codes were included and do work. I'm quite upset, am I missing something, is the expansion code on a separate insert as the other three codes?

2 RepliesWould like a response. Both me and my friend ordered the standard edition. Inside his copy was a code for the vanguard stuff. Me, who ordered the game months before him, received no such thing.

I got my limited edition from GameStop yesterday and I was missing the codes for the limited edition and the expansion pass.

9 RepliesFrom, what i have found / read Amazon.com were the only ones offering vanguard dlc not Amazon.co.uk. Game seem to have been the only retailer in the UK offering the dlc. I will dig a bit further but that seems to be the general gist of why people purchasing from Amazon did not get any vanguard codes with their orders...

1 ReplySame problem here. Preordered standard edition from Amazon.co.uk and no codes. Amazon.co.uk said that they didn't have the preorder bonus. I think is a Bungie mislead when you choose a retailer, some of them doesn't have the bonus.

I went on destiny webpage where it said about preordering for vanguard gear and it directed me to several retailers. The one i chose was Amazon and i havent received my code for vanguard armory either...... So not Day 1 access like Bungie stated.

I will be interested in the response, I also ordered standard from amazon UK and have received no code. Amazon support were not helpful, but there is a user comment on the amazon product page saying standard did not come with the Vanguard code.

3 RepliesDid you buy the Standard edition? I don't know if that should make any difference because lots of websites has mentioned pre-order bonus should be included with the standard, but it might be helpful to point out
