I don't know about any of you but I could not notice a difference in playing a Titan or Hunter as far as how fast I died. It could very well be the fact that I suck big harry lobster ballz in PVP and nothing will ever change that fact. I have been playing FPS for a long time and I'm still bottom bitch. I thought having more armor would help but nope.
BTW any advice on how not to suck? I don't seem to suck at PVE nearly as much. when I get into PVP I shoot like a 9 year old girl with an uzi and can only kill people when I sound whore but that is not working for me in Destiny as I can not modify my audio like in COD.

4 RepliesIn the crucible everyones armor, agility, and recovery is the same.
-
The pvp had a set armor and gun rating so every one is on a fair playing field unlike iron banner where having better equipment matters

1 ReplyIf you don't wanna suck, then just swallow.

i found this aswell. It was much easier t kill warlocks and hunters than titans. which is good seems im a Titan haha

1 ReplyEdited by Droppockets: 8/29/2014 8:49:35 PMso hunters don't get better agility and warlocks don't get better health regeneration in PVP?

Too soon....

2 RepliesWell, yeah. But when you get defender subclass unlocked - After sprinting for a short time gain a protective shield... OP :)
-
There's a difference. When i kill a warlock its faster than a Titan. A hunter is in between with armor, thats one reason

Regular PVP for a guardian well...it's just a guardian. Now the iron banner is different, your powers count as well as you character level and guardian power/leveled up gun power. As strong as your character is in PVE those powers count in the iron banner. Try that mode once the game comes out
-
- Find a gun that works for your play style. - Aim for headshots - Don't rush into large groups unless you have a super

2 RepliesAgility Recovery Strength All 3 characters have the ability to increase the ones you want in your subclass. No one knows how good the titan will be with full agility because mostly all the subclass perks were blocked in the beta.
-
But I will say, in iron banner there were times where titans would just not die...I can only imagine in the full release how noticeable the class abilities will be.
-
Well the "sucking" problem is just experience. By that I mean just practice some other fps multiplayer games...I would recommend halo only becuz of bungie's history there and similar multiplayer set up. But I have increased my skill by playing battlefield 4.

Armour and attack ratings did not apply to regular PvP. The only place these numbers have any bearing in regards to PvP, is the Iron Banner

the best way to get good at anything is to get your ass kicked... a lot... it's how you learn not to.. it's not the friendliest way to learn though... if you feel lesser than your teammates, stay close to them... not only does watching them help you get an idea of tactics that may suit you, but adding that little extra support will boost your chance of victory greatly...avoid going off on your own till you finally get your groove going... you'll also always play better with people you know...

I think the root of the problem is that Harry is a ridiculous name for a lobster.

2 RepliesEdited by PROJECT Rawrrr: 8/29/2014 7:36:19 PMArmor doesn't matter in normal PvP
-
The Iron Banner would be the only place that you notice a difference in anything when it comes to PVP.
-
3 RepliesEquipment doesn't have any effect in PvP (With exceptions like the Iron Banner), meaning it's all even in that regard. However, that said, Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans all have different base stats. Titans have a better armor stat, Warlocks have better health regen, and Hunters have better speed.

In PVP, level advantages, like armor and weapon damage, are disabled so everyone is one a level playing field. So even a level 4 player can kill a level 20. The Trials of Osiris are the opposite so gear does matter. And a quick tip practice aiming for the head all the time.
