This thread talks about the "Seraphs" being the Warminds themselves.

Im liking the idea, highly plausible, but bungie presented the seraphs as a faction. Perhaps theres are warmind worshipers or those who seek to wake the warminds.

Maybe, very possibly. Alternatively, it could very well be just Rasputin itself. In a way, I'm finding that idea more attractive than worshippers (although there seems to be a lot of factions/races worshipping this that and the other in Destiny). Not even your Ghost seems to know exactly what happened during the collapse, but Rasputin does, he was there. I wasn't all that fussed about "choosing a faction" before, but now I'm a little more interested. :)

Well the five factions i listed were the original pvp factions. I'm only assuming theres a representative. Then again, theres no trace of the seraphs in the datamined info, so they may have very well been removed as a faction, and are simply a story component.
