Please be careful how you give this info, uncommon (green) will most likely give you uncommon gear, getting higher rarities is luck. There are actually rare (blue) Engrams, legendary (purple) Engrams, and Exotic (gold) engrams that drop in other parts of the game. You have to be a certain rank in Cryptarch to decode each rarity. I ended up doing a lot of research on this last night. I will be spending most my glimmer on leveling Cryptarch, as it will be an important way to get gear.
