I couldn't really get into that book. It was so random to me that I couldn't keep up with where he was going with [b]anything[/b] he mentioned. It lacked structure, to me. And I write in a basic stream-of-consciousness form, but I at least try to find [i]some[/i] way to organize my thoughts.

I agree, it could be very random at times.. Currently I'm trying to read All Quiet on the Western Front, while Catcher in the Rye can be hard to follow, I find AQWF much more difficult. It's probably the only book I've read that I can't stop reading and start up a few days later.

AQWF was a good book, it was difficult, initially, but it gets better. It's actually rather sad, at some points.
