I'm 40. My daughter was born deaf and I've seen her through surgeries for 2 cochlear implants took her to speech therapy and got to see her integrate into mainstream schools. When she turned 9 she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Now in her teen years ive seen her through hospitalizations for suicide attempts. Ive seen her through all of this and she is starting high school next year and doing well. I can't complain I've had fun careers that took me around the world and back.
What is all of this?
Just saying thanks to everyone I've played with that unknowingly helped me through these times.
I've never been an ageist as as a musician or artist and I continued that in gaming. I like the fresh ideas and humor of young people today and the wisdom of my elders.
Just a thank you.
Go dads! Stay at home or otherwise. You've much to be proud of!

Edited by gilded_hotdog: 8/8/2014 8:06:35 AMThanks man, like I said I can't complain. I've had lots of fun as well. I'm not one for mushy. I'm usually responding to posts with toilet humor. I guess I was just moved by the subject thanks again to everyone. Sorry about your basketball incident. I hope it was nothing like Paul George, that was horrible.
