Am I the only one who doesn't care about graphics?

I'd rather play a game that's actually fun than a game that looks pretty. All these people orgasming over frames and shit. Idk discuss.

  • Graphics are always the flash of a video game. They are important. However, with that responsibility comes the delivering of an experience worthy of those graphics. A good example of problems which can come from not properly preparing for such things is Defiance. I am probably one of the few thousand who actually got the chance to play that game. Why? Because I invested into the Xbox's memory capacity for movies. Defiance took a whooping 90% chunk of the entire Xbox max memory at the time of it's launch and still had glitches and bugs running rampant. Most gamers got the game because it looked great, played great in demo... but then realized the only way to play it was to practically get a brand new Xbox, maxed out memory, for way more then they were ever willing to pay. So the game flopped. You can get it at gamestop now for $8. I checked a few weeks ago. Balance of gameplay and graphics is important. So don't fret too much on what people talk about like that because they simply don't want a game like Defiance.
