I respect the fact that all these people enjoy playing Destiny like I do. But the fact that they made a clan just for dads seems a bit unnecessary and it sounds a bit like a joke... No offense.

Since you meant no offense I'll try not to offend you either, but this group does have a purpose and it's no joke. Only another Dad can fully understand but just to help you out. In a game with an open mic setup while organizing your fireteam in the middle of a Crucible match hearing things like "get back in bed" or "hang on Daddy will get a bottle" are not what most hardcore gamers care to hear or understand. Knowing that you have a group of like minded and responsible people to play with makes a world of difference to us. Wether it's trying to find time to game around our family and work schedules or just the daily distractions of having a kid and trying to play online. I don't want to hear you'r mom telling you to go to bed anymore then you want to hear me sending my son to bed. That's what Groups and Clans are for... like minded individuals who want to play together and understand each other.

I totally get you but to be honest some Adults hate squeekers, im 15 and i hate squeekers its really about age group when it comes to problem solving meaning raiding. People will have to be able to feel comfortable playing with others I used to feel abit weird playing call of duty with a 29 year old mostly everyday but that was in the past I like this group I never really thought of something like that Dads of Destiny or Teenagers Of Destiny or something cool like that, Great effort! I like it.

I agree. The name "Dads of Destiny" is pretty lame. Unfortunately, every single variation of the word 'Ninja' has already been used in a cool clan name, so we had to settle on Dads of Destiny. It sucks, man.

While I can agree that there are cooler Clan names out there, Dads of Destiny is at least a self explanatory name unlike some of those I've seen out there.. lol

I happen to like the name. Who cares if it's obvious? That's part of the charm. It's been an amazing collection of open and welcoming individuals.
