Disappointing games
What games did you think were going to be awesome but sucked once you played them?

Dark Souls 2. It's a quality game, but its inferior to the 1st in so many ways. If Dark Souls 1 had a better player base I would probably play it instead of Dark Souls 2, the only reason I would play 2 is that its gameplay is a heck of a lot less clunky.
