Update - Destiny Year One Art Contest
With the recent announcement of the Destiny Year One Art Contest I'm going to revisit these designs and do some polishing up as well as creating some more shirt designs based off hunter cloaks. I spent a lot of time on Destiny getting as many of the best looking cloaks that I possibly could across all the expansions and I feel this could tie in perfectly with what I was working on here.
Thank you everyone for the support and I'll keep things updated here as needed!

After having a lot more spare time now that the Destiny Beta has completed I continued with an idea that I had about 6 months ago of taking Hunter cloak design concepts and turning them in to T-Shirts.
Because let's face it, who wouldn't want to be able to wear some of the awesome cloak designs?
Currently I've created some shirt designs (mostly based on in-game cloaks) that you can view via the links provided. Below is a list of the current ones that have been created.
A Guardian Rises - based on the Tower banners
Cloak of Perception
First in Flight - based on the nameplates given out for playing the Destiny Beta.
Legend Rising - based on the nameplates given out for stress testing the Destiny Beta server capacity.

Cloud Walker Tribute
Cosmic Joke
Cult/Trinary Star
Dead Zone Revolution
Legend of Six Coyotes
Mantle of Gheleon
Quantum-Phoenix Blue
Strength of the Pack
Venom of Ikaheka
The Seventh Truth - based on an old Hunter cloak concept art
I've also begun working on creating wristbands based on some of the Warlock bonds found throughout the game. Below is the current list of the ones I've completed.
"Phantom Wisdom"
Skorri's Iron Bond
And I've also started working on bandannas based on the Titan Marks (meant to be worn in the back pocket and function similarly to a Mark). Current list of completed ones is below.

Moctezuma Polyphonic
I've sent a message to Bungie's media email and am waiting for a reply as to ensure creating these, or crowdfunding them, would not infringe on their copyrights. Thanks for the support!
LINK UPDATE: After many days of work I've finally been able to convert some of the T-shirt designs to Spreadshirt along with creating posters and phone cases (no sweatshirts as of yet since Spreadshirt charges a lot for them). I've begun working with 2 others in creating a project called Frontierr which seeks to bring video game inspired content to life while benefiting charity. We've decided that for the very little amount of proceeds we receive on our creations from Spreadshirt and Redbubble that we will donate all of this to the Child's Play Charity. I know that these shirts and designs are not the same as the concepts posted here, I had aimed way too high for something that would cost too much money and time for everyone involved. This is definitely a more down-to-earth attempt in creating something awesome that costs much less and helps a good cause. Without the support I've received here on the bnet forums this wouldn't have ever happened. Despite the disappointment if you're still interested you can click here to visit Frontierr.
Thank you guys again, I can't wait to see were this takes us!
Activision Shutdown: Well I guess this is where the journey ends. Not even 24 hours after the launch of Frontierr and the Guardian Collection (to which all proceeds were donated to Child's Play) Activision has contacted us and stated that we are infringing upon their property. I'm working with DestinyDispatch now to see if there's any way to get permission to continue forward. Until then the website (http://frontierr.net), Spreadshirt, and Redbubble have been frozen. Most of the email can be read here: http://puu.sh/aObKr.txt
Thanks again everyone, it's a shame things didn't work out better.

Screw you Activision. You should be paying this guy, not shutting him down. You worms.
-
you wanna touch each others "parts?"
-
They should have just hired you.
-
Ive just had a thought. Why not do the designs for free, and then put the files needed for ordering or production out there for us to use as we wish? The wristbands and bandanas may be a bit difficult for us to get, but the tshirts can be easily done, and as far as i know theres nothing activision or bungie can do to you since its all free and youre not making a profit. Youre basically doing this as a hobby and you hopefully get to see your work someday on the street. I pity the fool that tries to get rich from it though
-
Sad fact is activision will probably use these in the future without even mentioning anything
-
Edited by H3AD X HUNT3R: 3/8/2015 3:22:32 AMCouldve told you the cease and desist would happen. You are creating a product that is blatantly using a large company's IP and selling it for profit (even though that profit supposedly went to a charity). You need activision/bungie approval, and they will want a slice of the money, probably so much that it wont even be worth making the product anymore. And thats if they even give you permission to use their IP Now if you made this and distributed it for absolutely free, with zero way for you to make money off of it, you might be able to continue, but i doubt that given the copyright laws in place All that being said, i kinda want the iron bond
-
I just now saw this and I want it so bad. -blam!- activision.
-
Anyone surprised by this though? Sad as it is they weren't going to let that go without a percentage I'm sure
-
Only coming across this now but these shirts are exceedingly better then anything you'd find in the Bungie store. Too bad. You'd likely have to work for Activision as a designer for this clothing to ever be sold...
-
Hoodies for the cloaks please
-
Nice legit designs too bad she came to an end
-
Memorial bump
-
Remove pictures and words and continue your journey, don't mention destiny anywhere on the site or reading materials. I don't think even Activision can copyright geometric shapes and color schemes.
-
Well, let's be honest here, it was bound to happen, since you didn't cut them a fat paycheck or bribe them in any way. We are talking about the same company run by one of the most ruthless, greedy, cutthroat CEO's in the industry, Bobby Douchenozzle Kotick. You're lucky he didn't come down to your house and have some very large men take all of your shit and start up a bonfire with it in your own backyard.
-
Shirts look dope, I would've bought a few myself.
-
I want them all. And I want them now.
-
Activision shutting down something that was raising money for Child's Play charity? Yep, that's Activision for ya. A bunch of greedy pieces of trash.
-
I'd buy these
-
I'd buy every one of those shirts if they were available
-
You have my support. Gotta get me a bond.
-
Definitely support. If a petition needs signed I'll sign it. I would love to have almost all of these designs and I think it's a shame that bungie doesn't have alot of this in development or even hiring you, since you obviously have the talent, to design merchandise for them. They should be smarter about this and use your abilities instead of putting you down for showing an obvious deep respect for their game
