Kinda dont agree with the solution and plus one shot could kill as many people as it wants. if the enemies are in a line
-
Wait, you think it's underpowered?!?! AHAHAHAH don't make me laugh.

Edited by Weaksauce1138: 7/25/2014 6:43:01 AMMeh, situational evidence does not a case make for balancing. Obviously hunter does not fit your play style, there are other options available instead of trying to patch hunter into the style you improperly chose, but prefer.

Edited by OJ Didnt Do It: 7/25/2014 6:48:20 AMTalking bout that golden gun I think they should at least remove the timer. It's 2 limitations on it take away the timer I think. Oh and their is a skill that always GG to shoot through people. If u don't like the golden gun read blade dancer and blade dancer is totally gonna fit my play style. And bro as a hunter I can jump into groups of like 5 kill one use the special kill 3 injure and then knife another cuz u have great mobility and they other people can't hit u cuz u r moving to fast. Hunter just requires more skill as does every assassin type character in any game
-
Then use a warlock or titan then
-
The hunter is OP in PvP, if you come up against 6 of them you've lost
-
>the Hunter should get 5 or 6 shots So the extremely skilled ones can 1-shot the entire fireteam? Fūck no.

Edited by MongotheDread: 7/25/2014 6:24:04 AMBut how often are you really going to face a team that is going to bunch up enough to make the titan and warlock supers that effective? You might get lucky and kill 2 or 3 people, but with such small teams and the way people tend to play, it's unlikely to get more. And the hunter super is an almost guaranteed three kills, unless there is less than three people within 100 ft of you. But it is still not as limited as the others. The thing with the supers, is that they are meant for different situations. The Titan's is for close ranged fighting against a group, the warlock's is for mid ranged fighting with 1-2 people or a tight group, and the Hunter's is used more for 1v1 or 1v2 and potentially 1v3 when they are spread out. And that's how it should be. The Titan's should be powerful because it requires very close range and for the enemy to be grouped. The Warlock's should be powerful because it can be hard to use effectively unless the enemy is very grouped. And the hunter's should be strong, but not as powerful, because it is a decent range one-hit kill that is not limited by how grouped the enemy is. Just don't try to go all CQB, which you shouldn't be doing anyways, as the hunter and you should be fine.
-
No because the hunter can snipe with his super while the Titan and warlock have to be in a certain area to actually get a kill so every super has it strengths and weaknesses this is a balanced aspect of the game learn the ways of a hunter and it's abilities and you will be fine
-
You -blam!-ed up ayy ayy ron!

The hunter's super is also, currently, the only super that isn't completely wasted if it accidentally clips a piece of the environment or you misjudge the spacing. It's also the only super you can't run directly away from. Taking the First Light map as an example, the only way for a Titan or Warlock to destroy the interceptor with their super is to sneak up on it, somehow get the driver to run into it, or rely on the driver to e a noob. Whereas the only way for a hunter not to kill the interceptor is to be a terrible shot or die first. Each class has their opportunity to shine. While the GG doesn't shine for objectives like capture the control points, it most definitely shines as a single target take down. Just wait until the release comes and we play games like CTF; let's wait until you're a flag runner trying to cross any sort of distance/open terrain.
-
If they buff the Hunter's super that class will become incredibly broken.
-
You can kill more than three people with it.
-
The hunters super also has a skill that allows their shots to penetrate enemies potentially killing more than one person. Ive wiped an entire team before with the super because they were all capping one spot. The Hunter super is honestly the only super that takes skill to use. You need to aim to kill your targets and you are vulnerable while you do so. While the warlock can just look and throw a super grenade and everybody dies. And the titan.... Well i cant use the titan super for shit in pvp. So i dont have a good opinion on that.
-
Other supers have limited range so don't forget that. However most of the maps aren't large enough and contain long enough sight lines to take advantage of that

Edited by FoxDie: 7/25/2014 6:06:27 AMLol, that's why 9 of the top 10 players (highest score) are hunters....
