Been playing the BETA on the PS3 and been enjoying it, I am looking to put a lot of time into Destiny at release but unsure whether it will be better on the PS4 or PS3.
Biggest concern is will the expansions and DLC make it to the PS3 versions, and there is are a few games on the coming out on the PS4 that I am interested in getting.
So help would be appreciated, don't say get an Xbox One because I did earlier this year... Didn't enjoy it.

More like 5 days late to this, but coming from an Xbox person, since you are playing on PS3, I suggest just getting it for sure on PS4. The game will run smoother on the current console, and majority of people will play on there.

What ever, you do, don't buy the Xbox One.... nothing but complications with every game. You should upgrade and get the Destiny PS4 bundle, you'd enjoy the game much more with next gen.

If you have the money/interest id say a pc as graphics will always be better but if you are set on a console ps4 is amazing!! Lots of games coming soon and all will look better than xboxone. So we have assassins creed unity, mortal kombat X, Batman arkham knight, the order 1886, destiny and many more. Get saving buddy

Why not? The game selection is still slim but give it another year. Couple games that caught my eye: Order 1886 and Deep Down both exclusive to the PS4

Your character can play on both ps3 and ps4. The dLC is bound to your bungie account that is bound to your psn account. You can wait to see if your gonna like the game and get it later. Without losing data

Trust us, your eyes will thank you for it. There will also be awesome titles you can enjoy in the future on the ps4

I only use my ps3 for hbo go these days. Once I can get that on ps4 I'll probably be trading the old ps3. My only complaint about upgrading to the ps4 is not being able to play my old ps3 games on it. But I suppose I'm over that now.

I got my PS4 at launch, and I LOVE it. I would highly suggest getting one since you want to play other games on it anyway. The game looks gorgeous on the new console. The DualShock 4 is also nice. :)

Even if the main thing that's upgraded in the PS4 is just graphics, there is no point in playing a game on 10 year old hardware if it's on newer hardware. You also want games for the PS4, so there's that.

I felt the same way back in November of last year. I got the PS4 and I am so happy I did.
