Perhaps the changes you want are exactly what will happen when you get the full campaign. So far it's only been a little teaser.

Perhaps. But they have given me absolutely no reason to believe that is the case. I honestly thought that these sort of things would have been present in the beta already as they were absent from the alpha as well. I try not to engage in wishful thinking.
