So does this mean we're going to see the arby break down emotionally?
-
No...?
-
343 wants everybody to be emotional for some reason, look at chief in halo 4
-
Maybe because his best friend was dying?
-
He lost multiple friends, he showed some emotion but 343 over did it
-
so this is ignoring the way the assembly AI mention that chief/cortana are one, the way chief is terrified without cortana in the flood, the entire poem that is connectivity, the way cortana is dying, and the fact that chief attempted to keep the same exact stoic character up until the last cutscene of the last playable mission? there's some hope for you yet at least. you only truly hit rock bottom with regards to logic when you say that cortana was over emotional in halo 4.

I hate having to explain this so many times... When Chief inserts Cortana into his helmet, she doesn't just exist in his MJOLNIR, she uses his neurons to support her process. Chief can literally feel her presence in her head. They are basically two minds in one body (while Chief obviously controls the motor functions and such). Through this extremely intimate form of contact, they have both gotten to know each other extremely well. They are essentially two halves of one person. You see how he reacts around Cortana. The only person he ever jokes around and with is Cortana. You never see him joke with anyone else. For everyone else, he remains stoic and militarized. It absolutely astounds me that such a sizable portion of the Halo community just does not grasp how close Chief and Cortana really are.
-
Well, he joked around with that Grunt on High Charity, probably before blowing his tiny brains to bits. " boo" *sips tea*
-
And guess who was with him: Cortana.
-
Well, I guess you've got me there, losing apart of yourself as well as a friend. I missed the good ol days with the Chief, I'm a little concerned about what Halo 5 will do with him, I kinda wanna see him happy, if that's ever possible. (and without being a cliche') *sips tea*
-
The only time Chief is happy is when he's with Cortana and winning. I don't think Chief is going to be moping around in Halo 5 though. (having sociopathic tendencies, he'll deal with his pain in a different way)
-
By furiously teabagging the next Gravemind? I hope the Arby might make him see some humanity, regardless of how Ironic that is. *sips tea*

Finally, more arby gameplay!
-
phucking love that gif :) I wonder which hidden past it means.
-
Yea....saw that coming from a mile away.

Edited by Inyaccurate: 7/1/2014 2:23:27 AMIt's about time that we see the Arbiter in the games again! I'm in withdrawal from not hearing Keith David's superb voice acting in so long.
