You're looking into this a bit too far. Bonnie Ross is an executive at Microsoft. She's coming from the standpoint that Microsoft owns Halo. (Which they do. If you even read the article, you'd realize that Halo is a bit restrictive in how it has games scattered across three generations of consoles. That's not accessible. The MCC is. As primarily a video game franchise, Halo generally fills a niche spot in the entertainment industry. Bringing Halo to TV will make it more accessible to a wider audience. Besides, you're a fool. 343i already confirmed numerous times by PR, and by competitive gamers working at 343i that Halo 5 will be an Arena shooter with equal starts.

Halo: Anniversary, The DLC to Halo Reach, Halo Wars, and they're remastering all of the old Halo games and putting them on ONE disc for everyone to play. You can't expect a new gaming dev to pop six games out their ass for you to judge whether or not they're good or bad either, because then you'd just bitch about them milking it.

Considering how Halo has so many different options for its games. The low amount of Marketing Halo 4 had to begin with,the Rise of COD and the decline of Arena shooters in general,and then the abundance of MP games on the market to the point where it was a trend,even for single player games,I'm honestly quite surprised Halo 4 has the population it does. It's not like it takes 10 minutes to play a game,and you're not playing with the same people when you do. It peaks at 25-30k and If Reach and Three servers were shut down it would have a steady population of 40-45k.

They got your money deal with it, it doesn't matter how many of you keep playing it or how many of you enjoyed it after purchase,they got your $60. I'm Pretty sure that was one of the things about the Halo series it kept people coming back for YEARS to come, not 4-6 months.
