Did the Destiny Alpha ruin other games for you?

Is sure has for me! I just played Pixle Shooter thingy because it was free, a little fun I guess. Ever since the Alpha I have lost the urge to play Battlefield and all other games I have right now. Sounds crazy but Destiny seriously shows how great games can be and Bungie has delivered a great game. I can't play other games because they feel the same and there is no amazing feeling I get when I do play them. Maybe it's just me, but let me know if I'm not alone here floating through time until the Beta.

  • Not really. I had fun with the Battlefield Hardline Beta, more so than the Destiny Crucible PVP. Both had solid connections but the higher number of online players and higher vertical play made Hardline more interesting/challenging to me. I kept going back to that versus Destiny. So I certainly won't be buying Destiny for PVP and the co-op open world hardly had any players in map with 1 main mission and sub quest missions that mostly all felt the same. Had a Halo like feel which I am tired of. As someone else said, basically another shooter. Being able to change one's looks, which many seem excited for and pretty graphics don't cut it for me. While the game ran flawlessly, it certainly wasn't pulling me in. Hoping the beta will pull me in more but not hopeful. I have been having way more fun playing Mercenary Kings and Trine 2 with my son than playing Destiny. Looking forward to Last of Us on the 29th much more so than the July 17th beta.
