I'm Thinking About Writing a Novel
I've been meaning to do this for a while. When I was younger, I started one, but I got so invested in the species and backstory that I never started the story itself thus dropping the project.
Now, I think I have the capabilities and style to actually get something done.
I'll probably run some of the stuff by all of you if you're interested. If I enjoy writing it enough, I'll make series.

Edit: I'm starting to get the sense that people here like science-fiction for some reason. [i]I have no idea why.[/i]
By the way, while some of the stories may have hopefulness in theme, they will more likely than not be dark in nature.

At the height of the Cold War, an enigmatic organization known as the Flood is attempting to create a large foothold in Central America, a target of growing importance to both the US and Soviet Union. With seemingly bottomless pockets and a large private army at their disposal, the Flood intends to make their stake in Costa Rica, "a nation with no military." Fearing that the Flood us attempting to aid the Soviets, a team of Delta operators are sent in to stop the spread of Floodian influence in Costa Rica and to assassinate their leader. This probably goes without saying, but please make sure to make references to us.
