I'm buying a Corolla GTS.

This summer me and my dad are gonna fix up and old junker we found on craigslist. I'm gonna try to put a 4A-GE in it. It's not necessarily fast, but its very revvy, and the ability to drift with the pedal to the metal. It's a perfect engine for the job. What's your thoughts? All that Initial D has gotten to me. inb4shitstormbecause"itsa29yearoldpieceofshit"

    • Find another rear diff, weld it, swap it in when you go drifting for maximum win. Or just leave in all the time for hilarious results when daily driving or trying to navigate a parking lot.

Nice! I love ae86's. The 4age isn't the most powerful engine but it is a good one. You could always go with a 3sge blacktop if you wanted more power. Just don't mess it up. Too many of those have been ruined. However they do look could just a little bit lowered. Also great to see another Toyota fan. I know I love my 94 Celica.

        • Don't molest it with a shitty garbage can exhaust, or a shitty paint job, and Whatever you do, DON'T ruin your -blam!-ing suspension for "muh rimzzz" or "muh street cred." the above is what NOT to do, and if you think that's "cool," sell the god damn car before you -blam!- it up like the hundreds of civics/corollas I've seen everywhere.

                • Too bad it's not an AE86, but good luck finding one of those for cheap. But hell, that sounds pretty badass to me. Just lower it and put some decent rims on when you're done and it'll look sweet. That's what I did with my 1993 Toyota Aristo, but mines got a 2JZGTE. Either way, that'll be a fun car
