The L2 button on one of my controllers squeaks when I first start playing
Oh and the earbud doesn't fit my ear very well, but then again most don't.

Had the same issue with squeaky trigger. To eliminate get a lead pencil and press the trigger all the way down so that you see the hinges and then just take the pencil and run it over the hinges multiple times. Works like a charm but it will take multiple passes.
