Hunter most popular class?
I'm seeing a lot of hunters around and I am curious why it's so popular why have you picked this class I would pick him because he is a badass light armored gunslinger and enchanter but I have seen people post "I like the hunter because he has a hood" so why do you like the hunter?

I always play as fast characters in any RPG Titan: heavy armor Low speed Warlock: medium armor Medium speed Hunter: low armor High speed I'm just used to it now

6 RepliesWell, at first I didn't want to be a hunter because the majority of people are saying they will be one. However, when I looked at all the other classes I realized that I didn't really like the look of a warlock (even though I'm jealous of the space magic) and I didn't want to play a big, tank role ( I do love the armor though). I want to play a hunter to play a more recon role than an assassin or sniper. I don't want to go all out guns blazin but I also don't want to sit back and snipe or assassinate all my enemies.

1 ReplyDon't know. Many people seem to like characters with capes, finesse and sneaky abilities. For myself I choose the Titan because I always was a fan of brute characters (Iron Man, Robocop, etc....).

Because of the playstyle, the badass look, and his abilities. The entire character suits my playstyle throughout all the halo games. [spoiler]on others, like BF4 or CoD, sniping took a backseat. In CoD because of quickscoping and in BF4 because of bullet drop. When I could manage it I was good. When not, I was using an LMG or carbine. [/spoiler]

3 RepliesI think ill remain hunter or warlock. I want to be able to weave my way in and out of combat as fast as I desire. Forces me to walk the line between life and death. Keeps me alert. So ill go with the hunter then warlock. Ill only play titan if it is an achievement requirement.

It's hard to choose, but I have to say on this picture alone I like the look of the Titan the best, but the Hunter comes close at second just because of his hood and that gas-mask style helmet.

4 RepliesI like the "backstory" that they've given the hunters. Used to be outlaws, but now serving the greater good. I like the way that they really look like they have experienced the wild, more so than the other classes. They have awesome scavenged looking armor. Those are my main reasons. I'll be playing the hunter, but not to be sneaky or stealthy, i want the speed and deadliness.

Not gonna lie.......That cloak IS awesome. But I plan on playing all three classes if multiple character slots are a thing. I also like whatever ability they show where the hunter glows and dispatches three enemies with a knife. Ghost gun (I think that was the name) also looks really cool.

Most people like Hunters because they've been shown off more than the other races. Which is all great and wonderful, but I find the Titan more appealing.

As interesting as the hunter is my personal favorite is the warlock because it's backstory just fits me to a tee. Also who wouldn't want to hurl orbs of pure explosive energy at their foes?

I intend to play as all three. I want to start the hunter because based on what we know about focuses it SEEMS to fit my style better. That and my fire team already has a titan and a warlock. So whatever to help the cause right?

What I'm getting is a lot of players want to go at it solo. If you look at all the classes the hunter seems like the out cast. Plus their super covers their weak spot one shot kills if Fallens get to close.

No one has really had any hands on time with the classes outside of Bungie, so all the people on the hunter bandwagon could easily change their minds when they find out any class can be a sniper. Since everyone just wants long rifles anyways.
