It's hinted that she's a liar and murderer. I think she killed a cleric and stole their clothes and miracles to impersonate them. There is a dead body by the tower that connects no mans wharf and heide's tower of flame that gives a monastery charm, suggesting that it is a dead cleric's body. She also lies to you saying that the rotating door that opens up the huntsman's copse is only accessible through miracles, yet when your character bows their head to pray with her to open it, she seems to use a key to access the turning mechanism (in fact if you kill her she drops a key that opens it up for you, no need for miracles). Not to mention that if you talk to her and end up not buying anything, her dialogue is kind of hostile (the gods frown upon such souls scrimpers) and then if you do buy something, she kind of sounds smug saying (the gods demand your souls, or something like that).

I don't think she betrayed you in any way either. She's a bit greedy and a small bit deceitful based on her dialogue and what others have said, yes, but she didn't actually betray you in any way, at least not to my knowledge anyways.

Yeah I'm confused by this. I don't believe she did.
