'Earth' is a stupid name for a planet.
Earth. Someone couldn't come up with a better phonetic sound than 'Urth'? Even the overused sci-fi Latin name 'Terra' is better than that. Whoever named the planet in the English language should be fired.
Yeah this thread is dumb, but if you're on B.Net during the Super Bowl you deserve nothing more.

Aha! I'm [b]not[/b] on during the Super Bowl! But in regards to the post, yeah, earth sounds a little silly. Terra is better, or Gaia even. Maybe part of the problem is that any name we give this place will never encompass its significance to all of us.
