Red Death Origins

I noticed something rather interesting when I was browsing my collection of Destiny photos on my phone. I was looking at pictures of all the guns featured in the Drawing Boards, then went on to look at the new GI screenshots. Here is the gun used by the Warlock and Hunter in the pictures (Which I've identified as the Monitor S11): http://wac.7725.edgecastcdn.net/807725/website/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Destiny-mars-venus-13-1024x576.jpg http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130612044316/destinypedia/images/8/8e/Monitor_s11.png It was then I realized it looked strikingly similar to the Red Death. I began to compare the two guns, matching up parts such as the grip and the angular piece near the top of the weapon, and that's when I realized that they were exactly the same. Maybe bandits, or maybe even a rogue Guardian, done to better suite his nefarious needs. Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear some more theories.

 • I think that is what it is too. Think of it like a "reaper" weapon. If you've seen serenity (Nathan filling movie based on firefly), red death feels just like a reaper ship. Bayonet added, covered in blood. It was most definitely a heavily modified gun by some crazy person. Hahaha.. at least, thats what makes most sense.
