And now that I say it, this is gonna be a super popular thread.
This thread is meant to be read by that Raptor guy (the wwII one) and I have no other way to show him my little map, diagram, whatever the fuck it is.
Scenario rundown:
29 June, 1944
The British forces have been approaching Caen rapidly, and we need a supply route open so our Panzers can counter-attack. However, French Resistance forces have decided to hamper our efforts by attempting to block off all of the major roads towards Caen. Forward posts of the 10th SS Panzer Division are isolated and under fire. They will certainly fall if they are not resupplied and relieved. We are organizing a patrol to relieve the garrisons ASAP.
However, they will not make it easy for us. They are most likely expecting our Division to attack towards the western town, Haut. We will most likely be forced to go east towards Maltot. We should expect ambushes regardless of which town we relieve first. The opposing forces have some our state of the art anti-Tank weaponry and no doubt British supplies have gotten into their hands.
If our troops fail to secure this road from the Free French, Caen will fall for certain and our position in Normandy will degrade significantly. We do not have much in the way of armored vehicles, so make good use of what we have.
