I hate the Idea of the Exo and Awoken having a human origin.

Why is that? For what other reason would they fight for humanity?
-
Common enemies. Seems trivial when I put it like that.. but yeah.
-
That's what makes it interesting.

Something inexplicable is generally mysterious, which is often consequentially interesting or evokes curiosity..
-
But part of the fun of that is being able to understand it at some eventuality, yes?
-
The fun part is the venture to obtain that information, not so much what you know already.. no?
-
There's fun to be had in both, I suppose. Haha.

But its not unexplainable. Bungie could make up some backstory for the two races instead of following the generic sub-human trail.
-
I think we're just going to tack this up as a difference in taste.

The origin is human, but that thread is thin because it is only the soul. The mystery surrounding all the whys and what is the tantalizing bit that you need to think about.

There definitely is a certain level of mystery when you play awoken or exo.
