Do you see it happening?
Honestly? I just don't see it. I prefer DC as a whole, loved Man of Steel, and have been defending it since its release, but I'm just not optimistic about the future of the cinematic franchise. Hopefully Batman/Superman can prove me wrong...

If Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman and Sean Connery are not in it, then the answer is no.
-
It needs to be out in a week when nothing Avengers/Marvel related is out. Then it might do better than Avengers 1,But Avengers 2 is pretty much destined to outsell anything that's out at the same time.
-
A Justice League movie would be awesome after MoS3. They should've followed The Dark Knight Trilogy's formula. Batman Begins/Man of Steel: A worthy opponent. From the same or similar origins as the Protagonist. Different/no views of morality. (Rhas Al' Ghul/Zod) The Dark Knight/ Man of Steel 2: This is the enemy you knew was coming. The most iconic, most character development. Sets the stage for the third movie. Joker/Lex Luthor The Dark Knight Rises/Man of Steel 3: The superior to the protagonist. This is the one truly worthy opponent, who breaks the hero. Epic comeback at the end. (In the case of MoS, Batman should make an appearance in the third installment, not the second.) Bane/Brainiac-Doomsday

Yes. Darkseid. We need Darkseid. DARKSEID IS -blam!-ING AWESOME
-
In terms of pay off? Sure. Man of Steel already beat the Avengers as it is. In terms of awesomeness? ... Dude...Superman and Batman are in the same movie with the rest of the League. It'll be awesome on pure premise. Whether that awesomeness is of the same quality as Avengers is TBD, but it'll be great for sure.
-
Even if it has the quality...not many beat the story and action Iron Man and The Dark Knight trilogy has
-
Of course it it CAN happen. I've been watching some Justice League movies recently, and from my observations; Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Wonder Women are the glue to the JL. If they can do justice to all of these characters and have actors/actresses which portray them correctly, it got the potential to be a really good movie.

Edited by Lord Commissar: 9/18/2013 3:23:26 PMAquaman has these moves. No way the avengers can win.
-
It will be in a League of its own.
-
It could, but seeing as WB are hell bent on rushing it and won't release a Wonder Woman movie beforehand (nobody knows who Wonder Woman is, we need an origin movie first rather than just throwing her in and expecting the audience to follow along). I honestly don't care about Justice League, Superman vs Batman is going to outgross the Avengers anyway and will be heaps better than JLA ever could be, as long as they don't try to adapt TDKR fight scene.
-
they better make a kickass Flash movie.
-
Avengers was average IMO, so hopefully it can outdo it.

-
Edited by Fashion Lizard: 9/18/2013 3:07:09 PMIt can. I doubt it will, though.
-
I can see it. I love DC and Henry Cavil is a great Clark, but I'm sceptical about Mr. Afflack.
-
Also, it needs a theme that's heroic and majestic, like THIS. Of course, Zimmer can make it more adult, but if I heard that on the big screen I'd die of nostalgia and happiness.
-
We need Cobie Smulders as WW Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Idk for the flash Brainiac, Darkseid and Doomsday are definitely JLA worthy opponents.
-
I don't know why more people don't like the movie The Avengers. I thought Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman and Sean Connery were pretty good together on the same screen.
-
Their success hinges on whether they can get Ryan Reynolds to be in it.
-
If Affleck does a good batman, sure. We need moar MoS like movies. They need time in order to be good, though. And I need to be in one of the JLA movies, voiced by Michael Ironside.
-
The Justice League wont match The Avengers. The Justice League will surpass The Avengers.
-
No because Robert Downey Jr.
-
Marvel super heroes beat DC any day.
-
no. DC has always done better on the small screen.
-
The Avengers had a terrible plot and a terrible conflict. Thor could have solo'd the army. Hulk could've solo'd as well. But the writers had to go easy to make the conflict longer and look like a challenge. Also, Marvel prefers humor over a good story. If you think I'm lying, look at Iron Man 3. The entire movie was a joke, literally. DC has a lot more depth. The characters have extreme senses of morality that Nolan tweaks perfectly. Will it match as many sales as The Avengers? Impossible to tell. Will it have a better story? Yeah. Definitely.

AFFLECK!
