Ban evasion is far too easy on bnet. In my opinion, if a user admits to being an alternate account of a banned user, that account should also be banned. I know you can't put IP bans on users anymore due to the issue of multiple users having the same IP (universities), but if it's obvious that a user is evading a ban, then they should be dealt with.

3 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 9/15/2013 10:16:39 PMIf you ban someone for making an alt, it only encourages making ANOTHER alt - like the old site. Rinse and repeat. Your thinking is backwards and doesn't make sense. In all honesty ... who cares? If it bugs you just mute them. I do it all the time.

Kind of hard to verify that if you're not a mod.

That's a terrible idea, and the reason being is because the ban system is incredibly flawed. You have people committing minor offenses and getting banned, while others will commit larger offenses and not get banned.

That used to happen.

Then they make another account.
