And so it begins:
The year was 2013 when life took a turn for the worst.
They began to round up the women "all in good fun they said".
"Sorry guys, girls only" they said.
One by one those fragile creatures signed themselves away never to be heard from again.

Naturally my skepticism is off the charts. There is a reason most girls prefer not to give their gender away online... If you're genuine I don't mean to make you feel uncomfortable but know it sounds shady right?
-
Especially when it seems that almost all girls on the Internet turn out to be some creepy dude "looking for a good time". After that they end up on to catch a predator and get shipped to the nearest prison. Poor creepy bastards.
-
Yeah I don't know how often that happens but it sure as hell does. Quite a few "girls" on this site do a bit of attention whoring too. I don't mind it but others can't stand it.

Shady, it sounds shady to say I'm a girl on the internet because men go around saying they're female because they can, so now girls have to hide, becaue it's shady to say that you're a girl. It's true, I almost never tell anyone over the internet that I'm a girl. I can't even use a mic on halo because I've been ridiculed for being a girl. It's ridiculous, I want to be able to play games with other people, be able to talk to them and relate to them. I'm not asking for anything other than a female clan, completely internet based, so we don't feel so lonely and surrounded by a bunch of guys.

Yes, the patriarchy is so over whelming, it's ridiculous. And at least those guys are accepting of you being a girl, cause with me, they completely disregard my identity as a girl and call me a gay guy. It's so -blam!-ed up. Honestly, the only way to combat the patriarchy is to prove it's existence to the men who don't even realize it exists, but fall unto it's structure none the less.

That's terrible, you should not be ridiculed online because of your gender
-
I don't think its shady so much as sexist and a little juvenile , like a throwback to kids doing things like having club houses with signs like boys only and girls only. I do not care about gender , and its because I don't care that it miffs me that you made it a gender only group , as this makes it exclusive and elitist to certain people. as I make clear in my group's message I don't care about genders , real or fictional , and classes , there is only one thing that matters in making you or anyone part of my group . and that is that you are a "gamer"
-
~,~` Honestly I'm either an ass hole or I don't fall for any kind of shit online. You can say what you want, I really don't care anymore. I get were you're coming from but it doesn't look like its going to help realistically unless there is an even ratio of dedicated gamers, guys to girls. If you are who you say you are, you say how you've been ridiculed for being a girl and such. Yet you want to seclude yourself and others from the rest of the population. It won't make things better for girl gamers. I don't know if you're searching for a solution, or just a laid back place for girls to do what ever they do but the bottom line is, it's the Internet I personally trust no one. And it's only slightly shady to say you're a girl. It does sound pretty weird to make a group for girls only and then ask them to join.

Alright, thanks I guess. I'm pretty paranoid as well. I only did some promotion to help it grow a bit at the start, no more after. Sorry if it's seems weird.
