Dr. Who what is so wondrous about it?
I have never watched a single episode of Dr. Who, but I hear it being talked about a lot. Especially from my British friends. I am just wondering, what is so good about it? Why is it such a huge deal these days?

You need to watch a few episodes. If you find Christopher Eccelston annoying, ignore series 1. David Tennant and Matt Smith made the show interesting to watch, for me at least.
