how did you make the logo on the sleeve look so real?

I imported in the destiny logo, added a tiny bit of shading on both sides in grey, and set a blending option (I forget which) to change it to a blue-ish color. Then partly covered one up with a white dot. Shorthand: I added 2 blue-ish circles onto the logo. Then half removed one.
