  • All right, listen up guys. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the map, not a creature was stirring, except... the four spartans coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation. Vidmaster Deja Vu - oh the deaths, but oh the fun. Reloading rockets like no-one's business, blowing ghosts to bits, experiencing 'the fear' when that blaze of shimmery green fuel rods comes hammering towards your screen. I wish I could detail the many more epic adventures, but I shall simply say this: "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf..." ;)

  • My favorite and most memorable moment in a Bungie game was when I played Infected on Halo 3 with my friends. I never played it before and wasn't ready for what I saw, they just told me to run and aim for the head. It was one of the most intense moments of my life, my heart was pounding and I was shaking. I ended up being the last man standing and held out for about five minutes after that and finally got overwhelmed. I can't wait until Bungie gets Destiny released so I can have more exciting moments.

  • Mountain Dew Gamer-fuel: Halo 3 Edition has just been released. A boy with a grunty thirst for new dew and all things Halo set out on a Great Journey towards the nearest convenience store selling the liquid love juice of master chief. A bicycle, however, was his vehicle of choice. He acquired 4, 12-packs of the dew, and took off home. The paper bag holding the cases broke. Dew was spilled. An elderly woman arrived and supplied another unworthy bag. *RIPPPPP* Hope was lost and 15 cans were drank, pockets were stuffed with all salvageable dew for the return trip.

  • That video I did pretty much sums it up for me. Too many memories with some great friends. From all night game sessions with B.B. and his wife, being backpacked by Obi, hard gay with Impurity, to constantly betraying Achronos just because. I cannot pick just one thing to talk about.

  • My favourite experience by far is when the Reach Beta dropped. I hooked up with a buddy of mine, and we both got drunk and got *everyone* singing Bohemian Rhapsody while we all shot each other and it was marvelous. We rolled with that Matchmade group for a while, Boneyard was the map.

  • We had a Bungie day party last year. 8 TVs, 8 Xboxes, 16 people. The setup was glorious. A mess of cables ofcourse, but glorious. It ate the entire living room. Not everyone knew each other, but we spent the day destroying the BTB playlist, eating Pizza, and screwing around in custom games. Internet connection wasn't the best, cause we had guys using their phones as hotspots, and ethernet cables going into the modem, and everyone else on wireless. It was the perfect bro-day though, everybody left as best friends.

  • I remember going to my cousins house the day after I got my first Xbox. It was me, my two brothers, him, and 4 of his friends. We Had both Xbox's system linked and we played for hours and hours on Lockout with Swords and Shotguns. We played for so long, that the Xbox's heat caught my cousin's mother's new curtains on fire, and we had to call the fire department. Needless to say, I couldn't play Xbox for a while...

  • On April 7th, 2012, there was an event called Repopulate Halo 3 in which many famous youtubers and 28,000 others came together to play Halo 3 again. The event was amazing, I invited some old friends that I haven't played with in nearly 3 years because they didn't like Halo Reach and we were all willing to come back and share the nostalgia of playing those old custom games like we used to do 5 years ago. I am not ashamed to say that that weekend was one of the best weekends of my life.

  • I was ready for an action packed afternoon. I set aside the entire afternoon with one goal in mind: To finally obtain the fabled Recon Armor. One final effort would be required to attain the 7th Vidmaster: Endure. My friends had gathered in the ODST Firefight Lobby, and our bodies were ready. The following 2 hours were spent laughing, crying, and fitting as many snacks as could possibly fit in our mouths between waves. As the all-too-familiar “bleep-bloop” appeared, my friends and I basked in the ecstasy that was the end of “The Road to Recon” with celebratory crouching.

  • I was playing in a Halo LAN party with some friends at college. We were losing 3-0 in a team CTF. "Nick, what are you doing?" I called back to my roommate. "Sniping on the side," he replied. "I'm grabbing a Warthog and picking you up in 30." I left the base and hopped in the nearest Warthog as our other teammates scrambled for the Scorpions and Ghosts. 25 seconds later I had grabbed Nick and was heading towards the enemy base. Through smart teamwork and communication we rallied and won the match 5-3 much to the chagrin of our opponents.

  • It was one of the first games I had played in Halo 2. My good friend and his brother were on a team playing capture the flag on Zanzibar, we were on defense. The other team had stolen the flag and were on their way back to the beach in the warthog. There was maybe 20 seconds left at this point. I was on the wall with the rocket launcher waiting for them to come around the corner, my friend had the sword and was near the flag drop spot for extra protection. I see the warthog come around the corner and I get the rockets locked on then then let one fly. My buddy ran toward the passenger side of the warthog and lunged with the sword to get guy holding the flag. My buddy intercepts the rocket and is blown up sending the warthog flipping onto the flag score spot. They end up scoring but it was still my favorite moment because of how crazy lucky those guys were. We had them dead twice over and a fluke chance won them the game.

  • Achieving the rank of 50 in Team Slayer after playing halo 3 for two months. needless to say I was the only 50 with my group of friends at school and it felt pretty cool to be the only one.

  • My favorite moment ever is when my friend and I played co op on Halo Reach. Are main goal was to do as many Easter eggs as we could in an hour. We searched the Internet trying to find Easter eggs. We did this one were you fly through building and you turn into a UNSC pelican. Me and Kevin messed around with do to the fact we've never flown a pelican in a Halo game before and plus it was awesome. We also played so much firefight on Beachhead my eyes burned. I had so many memories with halo Reach knowing it was the last Halo made by the best, Bungie.

  • Halo 2 Map Pack Midnight Madness I have fond memories of the Halo 2 Xbox live community. Whenever a map pack was about to be released, someone on the Bungie forums would start an "endless" game type around 9pm. It would be a public game, and the game would last all into the night until the new maps were released. Most people would drop in and out, but some would stay the night. Whether it was slayer or the player created zombie game type, playing for hours on end with complete strangers when victory didn't matter was unforgettable. I made many friends those nights.

  • My favorite moment would have to be when me and some buddies managed to drive one elephant on top of the other in the middle of a BTB match on Halo 3. About half the players of both teams stopped fighting for about 10-20 seconds and just stared at the mess we had made. Being able to hear each other's reactions in the proximity voice was absolutely hilarious.

  • It was about 4 A.M. at my friend's house, and him, myself, and about 6 other guys were all hyped on caffeine. We had 4 Xbox's set up, in different rooms of the house, and were all playing Halo 2 together, while listening to the Halo 2 soundtrack on repeat. The trash talk was flying, and the F-bomb was being dropped at a rate of about 50 per minute. After playing for about 16 hours straight, we made waffles at about 6 in the morning, then continued to play for another 8 hours. To this day, that night is probably my favorite memory from high school, and a memory that my friends and I cherish. Halo was the conduit that allowed us to connect and interact in ways that our socially-awkward selves never could.

  • My first experience playing a Bungie game was playing the Halo 1 demo. Shortly after that, I told my dad about it and that Christmas we got Halo. My dad and I went through the entire game in co-op and had the greatest time. Because of that, we became long time Bungie, and Halo fans ever since.

  • When my dad first picked up Halo CE for the Xbox, I was always astonished watching him play it, seeing how beautiful the game looked. I was young at the time, but from time to time my dad would let me join in as second player. I always enjoyed driving in the warthog and overall just exploring the levels as my dad pushed on fighting the enemies. Halo CE let me bond with my father and enjoy an experience that I didn't think was possible on the Xbox at the time.

  • It was 2008 and I just moved to a new school where I didn't know any one. I came across kinda shy and such but found common ground with some class mates. Halo. That night we played Halo 3 till midnight non stop, it gave me a chance to not be as shy and to to make friends with class mates. I'll never forget our match on Last Resort where my friend was driving and I was in the passenger seat of the warthog with a sniper. We got caught on the windmill and it launched us into the air where we splattered 2 reds. It was a great time.

  • I can remember playing halo 2 when I was a freshman in high school. My friend and I would set up our 16" tube TV's on the kitchen table and play all night. The night began with a goal of reaching 5 levels higher than we were and we would always get very close. I can remember I finally reached 46 and was on a 3 game win streak. So we played another but because it was 6am we got really slap happy and started talking all kinds of ridiculous things to the opposing team. Needless to say, by the time we quit playing I was back at level 41, where I was when I started.

  • One of the greatest moments (which there are countless) was my friends custom game called Chopper Tag where people in Choppers chased people in Mongooses (mongeese?). I spent hours and hours on the game solidifying friendships, and eventually learning how to betray the others effectively. Which was the best way to play.

  • I would have to say the the best memory of playing a Bungie game would have to go all the way back to halo 2. The time when me and my friends finally found the scarab gun easter egg and giant soccer ball. It was all my cousins idea really, he kept telling me just how cool it would be if we could get the banshee to the other side of the map and just fly around. I thought him to be crazy at first, but finally we pulled it off, and found the scarab gun! Unfrekinforgetable! Thanks bungie!

  • I remember the first time we organised 16 friends, pizza and four of the largest screens we could get our hands on. We started off on Sidewinder with balanced teams focusing on different ranged weapons - and ended up on Prisoner with Rocket Launches (frame rates issues meant battle rifles never worked too well) - before going back to Sidewinder and starting all over again. My favourite moment was when we realised we all had late starts at Uni on Thursdays; it became a regular Wednesday night thing for years.
