• Playing Halo CE and Halo 2 over a system link with 15 other guys. So much fun. Bonds we made, blows were thrown, matches were won, and victory was achieved. It was awesome. We did it about every month on a saturday. Good times, good times.

  • My favorite moment would have to be when we all finished Halo 4 together. It felt amazing to relive why we all became friends in the first place, it was because of our passion for games. And our love for a game called Halo, it was fun and just awesome to sit around and talk about all of the games for a few hours and laugh. Why we loved the stories we spent hours playing and the characters we could never forget. That to me was my favorite moment.

    • What can I say? The only reason I actually became a gamer had to be Halo. Some of the most terrifying moments had to be having massive Halo CE lans during the middle of class at school! Over 20 people secretly playing Halo in some of the most intense Coagulation matches ever seen. We all had to have keen senses, quickly alt-tabbing as our teachers walked around the room - this of course ended up getting us killed! But it was all part of the fun! Years later I got myself an Xbox 360 and put in the disc of Halo 3, and the fun continued online. I came for the stats, and stayed for the lame jokes.

It was 2 days before Halo: Reach released me and my friends did not have the Recon armor permutations, So we needed 1 Vidmaster challenge on Halo 3: ODST and the achievement was Endure later that day we encountered some problems out of nowhere I got bad connection which caused me to disconnect in the game which caused rage, controllers to be smashed and everyone's skill level was problem in the situation. We stayed up until the early morning when we finally got the Vidmaster Challenge: Endure by far my favorite moment in a Bungie game. It fun night.

    • One xmas, I visited my older brother. His friends were having a Halo party so I tagged along. They had a projector, which was cool, but they had budget controllers, which wasn't. When it was my turn to play (Slayer), I found the controller difficult to use and the look inversion wasn't on (and I didn't know you could change it mid-game). So because I couldn't aim properly, I just ran around and bashed everyone in the back of the head. I won the game, but I could sense they weren't very happy being beaten by the new guy.

    • The first time I ever played Halo 3 was at a friend’s house in 2007. We were playing infection on Sandtrap. Now I had never played Halo before, so I had no idea what I was expecting. It was incredible to my thirteen year old mind. I specifically remember firing the Spartan Laser for the first time and feeling like I blew up half the map. We planned to pull an all-nighter, until his parents came downstairs at 5:00 AM complaining about the noise. That was my first great encounter with Bungie. Happy Bungie Day!

    • I'll tell you my worse. Personal preference and more of a joke. On other games like COD I like sniping so my friend wanted to play team snipers. We switched of on games. It was my turn. My least favorite map is Hembridge. And what do I get. TEAM SNIPERS ON HEMBRIDGE. I raged so much that I could have just shot myself with a plasma rifle!! This actually happened. But it's personal preference.

    • We moved through the crowded hallways, the clink of our boots on the metallic hallway ringing through the air. “He was on radar for a sec” one of my comrades claimed, “Don’t be an idiot” our self proclaimed leader said sternly over the mic. “Dean, he’s gone? Its got him I’m sure!” the youngest claimed. In a sudden rush, he was gone, in a blur of puke green. And the leader too, until it was only me. I backed into a corner, for my final stand, until one dropped from the roof, and the final word I heard was… “INFECTED.”

    • War and Remembrance? How can I choose a single moment as my favorite? The first time my brother introduced me to the cliff of halo, showing the ring on the horizon. The first time we watched Jenkins fall. The first time we drove through The Maw. The first time we saw earth through the visor. The first time we took down the scarab. The first time we took down a brute. The first time we walked through the jungle. The first time we found The Ark. The first time we dropped through hell. The first time we watched reach fall.

    • A group of friends and I made a game out of playing a game as we become of age we might change it. Every time some one got killed by a stick grenade or a Splattered by a vehicle, the person killed would have to do a dare (of course we aren't the smartest people when it comes to dares but it was a lot of fun.) one time I had to run 3 miles non stop just to get my friend a coke.

    • The other other night while roaming Mars in the game Destiny, my fire team and I stumbled upon this wreckage of a ship. Creepy noises came from the halls of doom, our Warlock and I were scared, but our big gun Titan ran in and let all hell lose. The Warlock followed, but I stayed back hiding in the Crimson Tree of Mars, waiting in case my teammates needed help from a birds point of view. I waited patiently and quit until a space zombie was slimming all over my friend I blasted him with my rifle. Both of my teammates turned and saluted, I returned the favor, but then they yelled "Watch Out" I dove out of the tree and a space orb flew my my face destroying the hungry Cabal behind me. We collected our loot and headed home in our space flying machine crafts.

      • "Oh my god.......RUN!!!!" where the first words I screamed to my best friend after our surprise attack on a pair of hunters (Halo CE, The Cartographer, Legendary) completely failed. So we did, up the hill with deadly green bolts following us up. "Are they following us?!" I yelled. "I don't think so....." he replied. While saying this he turned and looked a Hunter dead in the face who was chasing us. "NEVER MIND NEVER MIND!!" he screamed. Shortly after the Hunter fired its cannon, detonating the grenades under our feet, causing a explosion large enough it launched us into the sky.

        • Late December 2010 A bunch of my friends and I were on playing Reach when one of us suggested we take a group photo. We constructed a platform, made a photo frame, and a holiday themed background that said "Happy Halodays". Turns out we were all looking at the wrong spot in the photo, but it was so awesome to have everyone in that moment. Since then we've all graduated high school, and while some of us don't get onto Xbox as often, we're all still good friends. (Link is to friend's screenshot)

        • Playing Halo reach with Bungie employes in Steaktakular. When I first saw them my heart kept beating so fast. They all had blue flaming helmets and looked intimidating with their skull mask. We luckily won but not the steak. It was a game I will never forget. Some of my friends were seeing me play in a live stream. They saw me assassinate a Bungie player but I darred not to tbag. I am so grateful for their hard work in Halo and miss them. Cant wait to play Destiny and help them with world domination!

        • Think the best moment playing a Bungie game would be my first multiplayer on the original xbox playing Halo 1. I was still living at home and was in high school and had a 10'x10' bedroom. So after inviting a bunch of friends over, we linked them all up and played multiplayer with 4 xboxes! What made it the best moment, besides seeing 16 teenagers pretty much falling over each other trying to see their screen, was the fact that it started a weekly tradition up through Halo 3.

        • A big team battle assault game dragged on, one point away from a win on the recreated Blood Gulch. I groped my bomb and sprinted to the Warthog only see my entire team pile on top of lil old Warthog. I jumped on as we slithered across the canyon at 2 mph with the entire team tea bagging on top. I watched as opposing tanks and players unresponsively stared back at us. Imagining what they were thinking I strolled in scoring and betraying the others in pure laughter. BANG I heard one sexy voice, game over. BEST MOMENT EVER!

        • Back in the day, all of my friends and I would dream about getting Recon armor; receiving it from Bungie was tantamount to being knighted by the Queen of England... So we would enter all the community contests (did a bunch of SLASO missions... fun stuff..) Needless to say, we were elated to hear about Bungie vs. the World 2009. We gathered at my house late at night during the 6th, and then started hitting up the Bungie day hopper as soon as it went live. For 24 hours straight, we played Halo 3 in hopes of running into Bungie employees. Things got pretty crazy! Especially near the last 4 hours, when our brains were fried from way too much gaming and way too little sleep.. We started asking dangerous questions. "Why are we fighting with the other team? Why does Bungie want us to fight?" We ended up trying to make peace with as many enemy players as possible. Success was very rare at first, but it became very common during the final hour, when other people were giving up their hopes of running into Bungie (we were too, to be honest.) It was pretty cool, two opposite teams chilling together at the end of Bungie day. We were all bro's, united by a crushing, disappointing failure... Overall it was an awesome experience. My friends and I ended up getting Recon anyway, and we got to be celebrities for a few months! Those were very fun days..

        • I remember playing custom games last summer with my cousin and some other players on halo 3. We were playing living dead in the Foundry. We were playing a match where everyone had to go in a little building to protect themselves. Me and my cousin went into the church and I had a rocket launcher. The moment we saw the zombies break in I killed my self with a rocket launcher and then while I was waiting to respawn I watched my cousin take my rocket launcher and kill himself with it.

Playing Halo 3 custom games with my 2 sisters. We would board up small sections of the map to serve as bases and fill them up with as many weapons as we could, then we went all out using only the big guns...good old days.

        • So, my friends and I were playing in the Halo: Reach beta. Our team is winning, but the others are making a comeback. One of my friends was cornered by an enemy. He stuck his opposition, and started to run away. The enemy team member chased him and tried to assassinate him, despite being stuck. Another opponent ran up behind his team mate currently trying to assassinate my friend. The Plasma Grenade detonated while the player was on his back and my friend lived and got a double kill. We like to say that this won us the game.

        • bought a gamecube launch day even though i tracked halo and bungie for years. had some fun until my friend made me play co-op through halo CE. Once we finished the game it was ALL MULTIPLAYER ALL THE TIME (except chiron). I've never felt so much buyers remorse. Thank you for wonderful times and even a few bachelor party memories
