Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition

I want to buy a new game before the new consoles come out and I don't know what to buy. New Vegas Ultimate Edition which comes with all the DLC or Farcry 3. Which one do you guys recommend? Really don't want I get both. Note: I've beaten New Vegas but haven't played any DLC yet.

  • I would have suggested getting Fallout: NVUE. But seeing as you have already played the whole game, I would not recommend it. This is coming from someone who has played all the DLC and Far Cry 3. I recommend Far Cry 3 as it has a fun and interesting co-op and great multiplayer, in addition to its wonderfully insane campaign.

  • I had (and still have) zero interest in NV. Ive seen others play it and it just looks and sounds EXACTLY like F3 but with worse graphics (somehow) and a worse environment. FC3 on the other hand is a really cool game. The combat is fun, the exploration is fun (if you are into collecting things like me), the graphics are GREAT and there are some really good characters. The only complaint is that the best character in the game was not used to his full potential.

    • Although NV was a disappointment, but it is still a great game. Farcry 3 was really anticlimactic for me and got kind of boring after beating it.

      • I played Fallout 3. It was the greatest game ever. I played Fallout NV. It was a massive disappointment yet it was still such a great game. I had low expectations for Far Cry 3 after the travesty that was Far Cry 2 but was pleasantly surprised. However it's major problem was that I didn't want to explore this world. It didn't reward discovery and exploration and that's a real bummer for me. Even though NV was such a disappointment in comparison to Fallout 3, I still prefer it to Far Cry 3.

        • You'll get way more out of Fallout than Far Cry. Especially when you consider the DLC and different questlines of the main game.

          • Honestly, far cry 3 is overrated. and both of the newer fallout games are exceptional.

          • Farcry 3 is fun, and most other people will probably tell you to go that route, but I'm gonna say New Vegas. Just because there seems much more to do, and the DLC gives quite a bit of more fun to the mix.
