The problem with the poll is that you're making PC vs. all 4 other consoles together. It makes PC look unpopular. I made a free for all poll, pc vs. ps4 vs. ps3 vs. 360 vs one, and the pc won. It's more popular than all of the consoles which was surprising.

  • actually its quite fair, it shouldn't matter which console you're playing it on a console is a console and a PC is a PC. it would be as if you were saying, well my PC has parts from last year and isn't tier 1 specs so i should create a different category for it, that is just asinine. the poll is saying you wither would get it for a PC or a console doesn't make PC look unpopular cause they are getting it for a PS4 vs a PS3 or an XBO vs an XB360 stop trying

  • The problem with pc is by the time you buy a new pc it's already obsolete. Consoles age better and you only buy one for the duration of that generation. 10 years versus 6 months. Math speaks for itself here....

  • Console games are dumbed down in graphics so they can actually be run. The quality of graphics on a console is nothing compared to that available on a PC. Just because its available doesn't mean you have to use it though.

  • Graphics aren't everything. Being someone who owns both a console and gaming rig I prefer the console. There are no compatability issues and you don't need to worry about specs. Plus, I'm not into the modding scene. Both have their merits and boils down to personal preference.

  • lolwut You don't have to have the best parts available to play games on their highest settings. My last PC pretty much lasted me throughout the entirety of last gen and that thing was pretty low end.

  • Just because something doesn't have the newest parts doesn't make it obsolete. Every part in my machine is at least 2 years old and I can run any game on high or ultra settings.

  • Exactly... some people seem to think we have to upgrade every time a new game comes out . A high end PC will last you years.

  • Next year, high-end PCs will out perform next gen. Oh and already a PCs GPU outperforms the consoles. It's just that PS4s RAM is keeping itself alive. I saw a graph on spec comparisons... Forgot where I found it. But yeah, I'm not saying PC is better, because they are different experiences. That's why I'm buying it on the PS4. I've always been with PS.

If even longer because of it's flexibility. My computer can still run games like skyrim or metro last light or any other game that recently released: maybe not at 60 FPS but it's still playable and very fun. Besides if you buy a high end PC now it'll outlast the 360 and PS3 while simultaneously keeping up with the next-gen consoles (XB1 & PS4)

  • Right but there's many different kinds of PCs. So if you split up PCs by brand as well you'd get a very console-heavy result without a doubt.

Or the different evolutions of the Xbox 360 are different. Come on man I hate to say this but do some research first!

  • No it's not. Many different kinds of PCs vary in their specs and the types of games they can play, just like the different consoles.

  • Was that a troll attempt? PC is its own platform. Players can play with each other through steam for example, so it doesn't matter what brand you have. Console players have to be on the exact same console to play with each other. I never thought I'd ever have to explain this to someone...
