why are we all having a console war??
Like seriously, wtf can't you just buy the system you want to get and shut up then eagerly wait for destiny without all of this f**king hostility and band together like the community that we are supposed to be? I for one am glad that bungie is no longer a Microsoft only team like they have been for many years. So how about we all get along and agree on one thing, that destiny is gonna be awesome.

That's a great question. I think it's just because a lot of people are really desperate for something to rally for because they want to feel included and find a niche to belong in or something. I honestly don't know, and I think the whole idea of a "console war" is ridiculous and pointless.

And the Xbox One is built for the people who want more out of their console than just gaming. So the "console wars" are pretty much over.

I have to admit, it is kinda annoying to only hear about everyone b*tching about everyone, but as an Xbox player I'm a little miffed that there are ps4 exclusives.... I'm happy that the playstation is finally going to understand bungie's genius, but I would like to experience all they have to offer without buying a different console

I guess because next gen consoles are coming out this year, and the fanboys are being fanboys. Such is the way of the Internet, and the only way to win is not to play. But that doesn't mean you can't sit back and watch the fireworks.

Console wars are the gamer equivalent of hating on any other sports team that you don't like. It's been going on for years and it will continue to go on, the best we can do is just ignore it and quite honestly, to stop making threads like this, fueling the fire for more controversy. Or just sit back with pop corn and enjoy the flame fest. Whatever floats your boat.

lol idk how old you are but this will be going on for years, if you were around for the 360/ps3 launch...itll get worse after E3 and then hit the tipping point at launch, then start to die down Looks at the console/PC war has been going on since the dawn of time.

I don't know, it's really hostile and acidic. And there isn't even a good way to have a civil debate because no one has used either and can compare the two. Both companies are still holding games and features in their hand they haven't announced yet, never mind the fact that we don't how how the features that have been announced work. There is nothing wrong with these discussions but they aren't worth it right now.
